Most scholars would agree that Nero was indeed one of the clearest types of Antichrist we have in history, and then also Adolph Hitler. It is widely accepted that Nero was who John was writing about directly in the book of Revelation. Antichrists set several patterns that occur over and over.
This leads me to make a few observations. Nero “Fiddled” while Rome burned. George W. “Fiddled” while New Orleans flooded. http://politicalhumor.about.com/library/images/blbushpetgoat2.htm Fire and Water. I am well aware that Nero didn’t actually fiddle; Emperor Nero Claudius Caesar couldn't have fiddled while Rome burned in A.D. 64 because the violin wasn't invented until the 1500s. What Nero really did while Rome burned most believe is sing. The emperor, who had artistic ambitions, was apparently performing an old Greek scene for his friends. The first reference to Nero's fiddling appeared in the mid-1600s. The word "fiddle" seems to have been used to mean "engaging in frivolous activity," not "playing a violin." When he was done singing, Nero blamed the fire on the Christians and began the first Roman persecution. The beginning of the “Blame Game?” Others, pointing to Nero's desire to rebuild Rome on a grand scale, note that the fire was a very convenient way for him to carry out his plans and suggest that he may have caused the fire himself.
The similarities are striking. Although it was widely believed that Nero started the fire this was never actually proven to be the case. The same situation is now arisen again. News stories seem to be surfacing that claim that the levies where deliberately blown to flood the city. http://www.aztlan.net/new_orleans_land_grab.htm . Weather either is true we may never know this side of eternity, but what we do know for a fact is that both profited by it. Nero later had the city rebuilt. But what got him a lot of criticism was that when he had the city rebuilt he had himself a HUGE palace built. So, although he may not have burned Rome, he did take advantage of the burning by having a huge palace built on the ruins.
In an effort to be “Fair and Balanced” I have to say that listening to the Bush speech the other night, I would say it was well done, he said all the right things one would want to hear. You almost thought he cared. The only problem is that he is a LIAR. I heard someone say that it reminded them of the battered wife syndrome. Every time you get beaten by the husband, he comes back with flowers and says he is sorry, and will do better next time.
Now George W. is talking about spending $200 billion on rebuilding New Orleans. This is not about compassion; it is about lining his and his cronies’ pockets. We are already seeing the “No Bid contracts” going to Halliburton, and others. This is about taking money from the poor and the middle class tax payers and putting it into the hands of the corporations.
Here are a few more “coincidences” to ponder: 666 in Revelation was a direct reference to the then Antichrist. In Hebrew numerology Caesar Nero was equal to 666, as is George Walker Busche today. They both presided over the decline of their Empire. Bush is now head of the new revived Roman Empire, and he shares much of the same nature as his counter part.
Adolph Hitler also has nothing on him, 1. They both stole power claming it was a mandate 2. Both used a seeming terror attack to galvanize and cement their leadership.3. Both invoke fear to control the masses. 4. Both manipulated the media for propaganda. 5. Both declare a vision of world domination. 6. Both started a war without provocation. 7. Both are not Christians and distort the truth of the Gospel and teachings of Christ.
When you look around us at the attitude in the world, the people just want to “Fiddle”. The world is trying to go on as though nothing is happening; Las Vegas keeps building bigger and more excessive. Many parts of the country Real Estate markets are bloated and they think it will all just keep on going up. Europe is just the same as the US. Every man is running to and fro Dan:12:4: and attending to his own affairs and own house. Hag:1:9: “Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.” Mt:24:37: “But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38: For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39: And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Now for the good news, Satan has lost. Jn:16:33: “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”. Jesus here has made us a promise; that in the world ye shall have tribulation but in Him we shall have peace. That is a promise. Keep your eye on him, the birth pangs are getting stronger and closer together, as we give birth to a new age. To the Christian tribulation will be as a refiner’s fire to burn off the chaff and mature us into Christ.

Whore of Medicine

In a previous post I warned you that as I explored the height, width and depth of the Whore Babylon, some would think me a loon. I also mentioned that my mother-in-law had just died of lung cancer. She was a heavy smoker for 40 years. I found it ironic that the same family fortune (Duke) that gave her the cancer in the first place from smoking was now making as much money or more on the effort to treat her.
What I am about to discuss here is the RELIGION of modern medicine. In this discussion I am not saying that we should not see doctors or use medicine, but I am saying that there is a better higher more excellent way. Many times the good can become the enemy of the best. Doctors are viewed by many people as though they were Gods or High Priests; having the power of life and death in their hands. They put all their faith in them and seem surprised when they make a mistake or don’t have a cure for everything. The fact is that much of what is done in medicine today is just guess work and experimentation.
With this in mind let us look back at the history and origin of “Medicine” and its “Symbol” I think we will discover that it is very much part of this “Great Whore”.
In the book of Genesis there is an account that few pay any attention to. The Bible tells us that giants (Nephilim) were in the earth in those days. How did they get here? Satan has known since the beginning that Gods plan for salvation would come through the seed of a woman, and knowing that with that salvation would come his own destruction; Satan has sought since then to corrupt and destroy mankind. In Gen.6: 1: “And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2: That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3: And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he ALSO is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 4: There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. 5: And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Apparently these fallen angels where having offspring as a result of their union. This is another account of spirit and flesh having produced a child. Satan’s counterfeit of Jesus born of Spirit through Mary; God’s purpose to save mankind and Satan’s purpose to destroy it. In “The Book of Enoch” we see an interesting account of some of what happened as a result of these relations man had with the fallen angels. First let me discuss for a moment the “Book of Enoch” itself. I know some would say it is not the Bible, but it is referred to in the Bible and quoted. In fact many scholars believe that the account I just posted here from Genesis, Moses learned from the account in “The Book of Enoch”. Jude quotes directly from it Jude: 1:14: “And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints” (Enoch 1:9). Notice that Jude was not talking about just any Enoch but the one that was “Seventh from Adam” and before the flood. This is what Jude is talking about in vs.6 “And the angels which kept not their first estate, (the spiritual realm) but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 7: Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh,” The strange flesh that this is referring to here in context was the men of Sodom were going after the Angels. This has nothing to do with homosexuality as some of the modern translations have mistakenly interpreted. The early church looked at this book along with the “Epistle of Barnabas” as Scripture. Some believe these writings survived by being carried on the Ark with Noah, and then latter having been in Joseph’s care they were in the coffin with him as he was taken out of Egypt. Now let us have a look at a passage in the book to see what happened. Chapter 7. vs.1 “And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms 2 and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants. And they 3 became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells.” Here we see these falling angels teaching mankind how to use the things of the earth. In another place they teach them metallurgy. This may seem at first a good thing, but what in fact is happening is they are teaching man to be independent of God. This is the earliest form of Witchcraft and use of drugs and medicines. The “cutting of roots” and “acquainted with plants” was the making of potions for use in healing or casting spells and altering consciousness.
The first time we see the serpent on a pole is in Numbers 21. vs. 5: “And the people spoke against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loathes this light bread. 6: And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. 7: Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. 8: And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looks upon it, shall live. 9: And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.” This is a prophetic picture of Jesus’ on the cross. He is depicted as a serpent because He had become sin for us. The serpents that were biting the Israelites and causing death are a depiction of sin. Rom:6:23: “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” We, like the Israelites are healed by looking upon the cross of Christ. Is this meant to be only spiritual healing? Mt:9:29: “Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.”
The next place in history we see the serpent on a pole is in the Greek city of Pergamos. In this city the main attraction was the Temple of Esculapius. The statue pictured above is from this temple. It was this temple that all the sick would attend to receive treatments and advice. It dates from 400- 390 B.C. Most would agree that this is where the modern symbols of medicine come from. I found it astounding that in the book of Revelation it is called “Satan’s seat” Rev.2: 12: “And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; 13: I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.”. So again, we see the true, and the counterfeit; Gods Serpent on a pole and Satan’s. Shouldn’t Gods be the more powerful and trustworthy?
In the New Testament when we see the word “Witchcraft” used it comes from the Greek word Pharmacia. This is where our word Pharmacy comes from. It is the use of drugs. What am I saying? Do I mean that we are not to use medicines? Well ultimately yes, we won’t need to. I believe Jesus is capable of healing our bodies as well as our souls. Do I think we are ready to walk in that yet? NO!!! I do believe that that day is at hand though. God is in the process of showing us the truth about modern medicine and causing us to have to rely on Him. Did Jesus heal for profit? When we wonder why the price of drugs is so high, we are told that they need to be in order to encourage more and better drugs. It is all about the profit motive, or the “Love of money.” Now we are beginning to see the true spirit behind the drug industry. The seed that was planted back with the “Nephilim” and the fallen angels is now grown into a tree, and we see the greedy fruit. I understand Michael Moore is doing a documentary on the subject. That promises to be very interesting. What ever happened to the idea of wanting to be of service to mankind? More and more people are unable to afford the medicines we have become so dependant on, and insurance rates are going through the roof. In fact the profit motive is an incentive not to cure but to keep people in need of their drugs. Look at the viral disease HIV; people that are infected need medications that cost several thousand dollars a month. You tell me, where is the incentive to cure that illness? Just keep the cash flowing. If you create a cure or a vaccine, the money stops. People today are more dependent on drugs than ever before and we have supposedly made great strides in medical science; Yet the prospects of a plague being unleashed upon mankind is more ominous than ever. In our spirit man seems to know that the time is at hand, almost everyone in places like NYC that are financially successful need to go to a therapist. Sales of antidepressants and antipsychotic drugs are in the multi billions. Was this the way God meant it to be? God gave us guide lines for physical and spiritual health. I read a great book on the subject years ago; about the Biblical guidelines for health I believe it is still available (“None of These Diseases”). The idea is that if we were living according to Gods design most of the health problems we have would not exist.
As this new day dawns and God pours out of his Spirit, the darkness will get darker and the light will get lighter. Rv:22:11. We have had a lot discussion on the Antichrist and the dark hoards he is unleashing. There will be much tribulation as the travail of the birth pangs get more intense, but to the true believer these thing will be as a refiners fire to perfect the saints. To the wicked it will burn them up. Rom:5:3: “And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;” In the early church we saw a shadow of the spiritual power and healing Jesus spoke of when he said Jn:14:12: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” When Peter walked if just his shadow fell on someone they were healed. Acts:3:6: “Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” This is not the phony Pat Robertson fake stuff, but the real thing. We have not seen the “greater works” happen in the church yet, but it will in these last days. The scripture teaches that Hag:2:9: “The glory of this latter house ( the end time church) shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.” Amen and Amen Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

More wrong with the "Right"

In 1994 Falwell quietly accepted $3.5 million from Korean cult messiah Sun Myung Moon as part of a larger deal to bail Liberty University out from under its horrendous debt load. Perhaps Jerry was moved by this staggering generosity. That might be the reason why Falwell publicly urged his friend President Reagan to pardon Moon's tax evasion conviction.

I know I have promised to post on the "Whore Babylon". I am working on it
but still have more research on the subject before I post, but This post is not
off topic, If you have an ear to hear. I just had to put this before you.
Below is an email sent by Jerry Falwell to the members of the Moral Majority, in response to a direct challenge to Falwell (et al)'s monopoly on "Christian Values(tm)" from a new organization called the Christian Alliance for Progress (http://www.christianalliance.org/). This silly bunch dared to assert that Falwell (et al) are not Jesus' latter-day conduits on political and scriptural issues. Falwell's response is so full of gaping logical, hermeneutic, and scriptural holes, it begs for rebuttal. The challengers are (predictably) collecting rebuttals to send to Falwell (and other interested parties). Please remember, according to the Washington Post, Reverend Falwell is one of the people the White House has asked for input on the Supreme Court nominee. At this point in time, Falwell's Christianity IS American Christianity, and that delusion is killing multitudes, while deforming the lives of millions. It is long past time to publicly, vocally, and scripturally disavow this heretical greed.

In announcing its formation, the Christian Alliance for Progress unveiled what it called its "Jacksonville Declaration," an open letter to the political and church leaders of the religious right, which "challenges and invites them to return to a Christian foundation of compassion and justice, values that Jesus passionately taught and lived." First, the sole purpose for Jesus' ministry on earth was stated in His own words: "... for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:30). {that is exactly what they do not do, they have come to condemn}
Any organization that deems to calls itself "Christian," simply must have as its basis the reality that Jesus asserted that salvation could come only through Him. I wonder if the leadership of the Christian Alliance for Progress would state that Jesus Christ, who conquered death following His crucifixion, is the singular avenue to eternal life in heaven? If not, how can the name Christian be suitable for this organization? {here he uses innuendo to discredit. He infers that they do not believe in salvation by the Cross of Christ}
Second, the Christian Alliance for Progress says it will "speak out when conservative Christians misrepresent the gospel to support their misguided political positions." These positions include "equality for gays and lesbians" {would Jesus have treated anyone with inequality?} and
"honoring the sanctity of childbearing decisions through effective prevention, not criminalization of abortion." {Please read my post on "Love & Choice" below, it has a sound biblical foundation.} It sounds like the Alliance got its talking points from Howard Dean. The group is simply falling in line with untold numbers of past liberal church groups that have promoted abortion-rights, homosexual rights and anti-war sentiments. Joseph Loconte recently commented in the Wall Street Journal (July 1, 2005) that while the Christian Alliance for Progress claims to be "firmly founded on the teachings of the Gospel," students of the Gospel "may be surprised at how neatly such an agenda fits the Democratic Party platform."{it could be that the Democratic platform is more closely aligned with the teaching of our Lord} Here is a reality of the Bible: it clearly forbids homosexual behavior { it does not} and, for that matter, any sexual activity outside the bonds of male-female marriage. {Then let's take away the rights of all sinners} The Word of God unmistakably speaks against homosexual behavior in Romans chapter 1, describing a time in history when, as today, men and women gave themselves over to unnatural sexual relations. There can be no mistaking that these passages condemn same-sex relationships. The Christian Alliance for Progress can label themselves "Christian," but they are willfully daring to distort and dispute biblical writings forbidding homosexuality. Further, abortion is clearly not the will of God. The Bible does not expressly address abortion, but in Psalm 139, we see a beautiful and remarkable picture of Almighty God ministering to us even within the womb: "But you covered my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works" (Psalm 139: 13, 14) Bottom line: personhood begins in the womb at conception; and the Bible is clear -{It is not!! at best this is a matter of interpretation. In this case, King David
is speaking of Gods affection for him even before he was born. The passage shows
Gods foreknowledge and love} "Thou shalt not kill." I often wonder how in the world leftist theologians can read this dramatic passage and continue to be lost in their abortion-rights quagmire.{Gen:2:7: "And the LORD God formed man of the dust
of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."
Life is not the question, animals have life; but here we clearly see when God gives man a soul;
With his first breath.I would also say all our soldiers and those we are killing qualify. How dare he quote " Thou shalt not kill" while supporting American aggression} The Christian Alliance for Progress describes themselves as "progressive," but their so-called broad-minded efforts toward tolerance have blinded them to how the Bible instructs us to live. Finally, the Alliance calls for peace and an end to war, but they cannot understand that the only true peace that man can know comes through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He was not a hippie do-gooder, but rather the Son of the Living God who came to earth to pave the one way to heaven for mankind. To present Him as anything less is an outrage. {he was a do-gooder, not a tax brakes to the rich hypocrite} Dr. Ed Hindson, renowned theologian and Liberty University professor,> writing in the August issue of National Liberty Journal,
{their University and their publication, in other words, Jerry's employee,
spouting the party line under the guise of respectability and superiority} stated: "If liberals want to debate these issues on biblical grounds, let them go right ahead. Because they will lose, not only the debate, but also any influence they might hope to have among spiritually minded people. They are correct when they insist we do not speak for them and they certainly don't speak for us. Their new Alliance for Progress will simply result in one more organization in regress." { I for one will accept that challenge, because
"You can do nothing against the truth"} Many Americans are seeking to discover the true peace of Christ and real meaning for their lives. While evangelical Christians will continue to be denounced and despised by the fashionable left, {Fashionable? what is he smoking?
we are not the ones in control, sitting in the seats of power} we must continue to devotedly and passionately take the truth of the Gospel into the world.
{Mt:23:15: "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye
compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him
twofold more the child of hell than yourselves."} It is my sincere pleasure and privilege to be laughed at and scorned {all the way to the bank}
because I have chosen to walk with and live out my life in servitude to the Christ of the Bible. {The truth is his God is Mammon and the capitalist antichrist system.
Again they have dismissed true believers.They know not the Spirit or true Christians because
they know not the Father. They have boiled down Christianity again to the same two issues;
Human gay rights and Choice. On both issues they twist the Bible to make it fit so they can appear to be righteous and Godly. Mt:23:24: "Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel." They care nothing about human suffering around the world.}

A Gathering of the Church

Sorry I have been so absent. We have been dealing with taking care of a dying parent. My "mother-in-law" passed away on Monday of lung cancer. As you may imagine it was a very difficult time to do any writing. We had a constant stream of relatives and friends visiting and staying over so there was lots to attend to.
In answer to Susan's question about leaving Babylon, America (the land itself) is not Babylon, it is run by the Gods of Babylon, (The Corporations) but then so is the whole Earth. The organized "Church" truly is Apostate and yes I do believe we must come out of her. Now let me explain what that means. I do not believe that means we must not go to the gatherings, but to not be identified with them as the "Church" The Church is the Body of Christ where ever it may exist; The true believers. We are not Catholics, Methodist, Baptists or any other man made order, but Christians plain and simple. Our purpose for gathering together is not to do some religious duty, but for fellowship, learning, and teaching among other things. There are many sincere hungry people that go to the denominational system, and God may use you there to spread the word. To "come out of her" means be separate, not a part of the value system, not subject to it's authority. The word CHURCH actually means "Called out ones". It is not a building nor an organization, but a living breathing entity. As far as leaving America, I don't know that would be necessary. I do think that the major seats of our society like New York City, Washington DC London Paris and the major cities will experience one plague and disaster after another in the days ahead; So it may be that you would want to begin to seek an alternative to the city. I do not want to create any fear, but that you learn more and more to hear Gods voice and seek his leading. If you trust Him, He will show you what to do as the time comes, and you will know in your heart that you are making the right choices. I would warn you about listening to anyone's directives for what you are supposed to do. In the days ahead, the light will get brighter and the darkness will get darker. You will know what to do if you seek the truth. We would all rather carefully lay out plans, but God seems to have a way of spoiling them. Plans are our way of avoiding the leading of The Spirit. "The just shall live by faith". Fear Not!! We can not save ourselves. Mk:8:35: "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it."
You ask about how many will be saved... My belief is that God has won this war. By that I mean that in the end a majority of the people that have lived will be saved from damnation. I would say that 1/3 will be damned and 2/3s will be saved. In Revelation 12:4: it says that Satan's tail drew a Third of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth. The Stars are both a type of the Angels and the people (souls). I wouldn't build a doctrine on this but just seems to fit to me. I also believe that there is a difference between being saved and Phil:3:14: "I press toward the mark for the prize of the HIGH CALLING of God in Christ Jesus." or Eph:4:15 "Growing up " or the Narrow Gate of Mt:7:14. We will discuss this subject more at a later time.
When I continue on with the subject of Babylon, I fear some may think me a loon. But I must preach what God has given me and let the consequences be whatever they are.

Several people have been asking about the “Great Whore” and who she is.
I have begun to wright on this subject, but before I post on it I thought it would be of benefit to repeat this which I had previously posted first. I believe this can be eye opening. Please prayerfully consider this subject.All the arguments that the EU is the revived Roman empire, and that the Antichrist can't come from the US because we are not the revived Roman Empire, remind me again of the Pharisees. Remember they searched the scriptures, but they searched to justify their positions and themselves. They were not searching for Truth. One of the problems that the Pharisees had in recognizing Jesus was because they thought that "Elias" (Elijah) the prophet must first come Mt:17:10. He was right under their nose, but they didn't see him because he didn't fit into their scheme of things, and they were too busy persecuting him. Mt:11:14: "And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, (speaking of John the Baptist) which was for to come." He was not the actual reincarnation of Elias, nor had he come back from Heaven (he never died), but he was of the "Spirit of Elias". This is why Jesus said "If you can receive it".Maybe it will help if we look at just what the spirit of the Roman empire is.If we look back in the Book of Daniel, we see in Chap 2:31: “Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible.32: This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,33: His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.34: Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.35: Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.”Just as numbers have significance so do the metals. As we read on in the chapter, he interprets the image as kingdoms that were there then and that were to come. The Image ultimately speaks of the “Kingdoms of this World” and their makeup. The head was of gold; this was Babylon. Gold is significant of divinity. In this case it was man's representation of god, idolatry. Babylon was the seat of idol worship and false religion. The next empire to arise was inferior. The shoulders and arms were of silver. Silver speaks of salvation and government; In this case mans effort to have unity without the truth of God. "The government shall be upon His shoulders". The Head rests on the shoulders. This empire was the Medo-Persian. Many scholars would trace back the origins of the concept of "Democracy" to the Medo-Persian empire. Next was the belly of brass. This was Alexander's Greece. Brass was of less value than silver but still considered of value and used in exchange. These three metals were all used in the tabernacle of the congregation where the Arc of the Covenant sat. Brass represents culture and sacrifice.It was Greece that was the origin of our modern day culture; theatre, art, philosophy and medicine (serpent on a stick symbol). This metal is less valuable just as we don't consider our culture as important as our religion or our government. Each empire that came along built upon the preceding empires taking their gods and their governmental form.Then this figure was set upon legs of Iron, Imperial Rome. Iron is stronger than any of the other metals, but not considered valuable. Iron is about force. It is the Law. Rv:2:27:" And he shall rule them with a rod of iron" Ruling by law just or unjust. This was Rome. They took the religions of Babylon, ( the Greek gods were the same ), the government of Medo-Persia, the culture of Greece, and built it all on a foundation of law backed up with brute force. It all worked very well for a long time. But.... the problem was it was all built on feet that were of iron and clay. Clay is significant of the flesh of man. Iron does not mix with clay, just as we are incapable of keeping the law. That is why we needed a savior, because we have all broken God's law. Now we see a stone that was cut out without hands ( Christ), which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and broke them to pieces... Then the whole thing comes tumbling down, and is burned up like chaff. Then the wind carries it away The breath of God the Holy Spirit....and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, (the Kingdom of God) and filled the whole earth.Now let's think about it. America is the revival of the Roman Empire. It is of the same spirit. Its ways have filled the whole earth. Even if Europe were to somehow get a stronger army, it is still this same empire. Everything that is Europe today is of America. Not just Europe but the whole world is under its influence. They have our form (with some variations) of government, our culture with music and trade and sports etc. English is the international language, the dollar is the standard bearer. At the head of it all is that head of Gold. They all worship the gods of false religion and the god of mammon and the corporate deities.Rv:9:2: And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. Could this be Oil ? It comes from a seemingly bottomless pit, and it has filled the whole earth with its smoke ( air pollution). What a coincidence that God has put all that oil under Islam. Watch what is happening now. The Antichrist has started a war in Babylon ( modern day Iraq ) .Now he is laying the plans to attack Medo-Persia (Iran, Syria). Is Greece next? or is it his attacks against homosexuals (Greece known for its homosexual culture) that are going to go from just legal bans against equality to escalate into a slaughter. Jerry Falwell has blamed them for 9/11 and the Tsunami that hit in Dec. 04, endeavoring to villify them thereby justifying a massacre. This President is blood thirsty, greedy, and arrogant as befitting the Antichrist.

Yesterday we began the hearings on the “Downing Street Memo” http://www.truthout.org/docs_2005/061705Z.shtml . The main stream media barely covered it and when they did they put a spin on it to make it appear that it was old news.
This Memo is an official British Government document. In it, it clearly shows that George W. Bush and his administration had intent to twist the intelligence that we received in order to justify going to war. The Republican controlled Congress tried to block this hearing from even being held, they were forced to meet in a small basement room while several other important votes were being held. I urge you to watch them on C-SPAN, you may need to check on line as to when it will be seen again. As exciting as it was to see that some on Capital Hill are beginning to get a clue as to what is really going on, I am afraid that somehow their efforts will be squashed.
We should not underestimate the degree to which the Antichrist will go. The reason people have trouble believing this is that they don’t really believe there is such a thing as the Antichrist or that anyone could be so evil as to cause the death of several hundred thousand so far. I am saying not only did they lie and exploit the events of 9/11 to bring about a war to expand the Empire, but they also planed and carried out the events of 9/11 themselves as well. This “Delusion” explains how they are able to get by with so much without the Religious Right or most of the public really caring; How the CRIMES of Tom Delay can be allowed to be ignored; How Bill Frist can lie about his diagnosis of Terri Schiavo who has been now proven to be blind therefore not able to respond to any visual stimulation; How Dick Chaney can provide no bid contracts to Halliburton.

The days ahead are going to get much worse. We will go into Iran to spread the reign of the Empire of the Antichrist System. I believe we will see some kind of terrible attack on American soil and that will give them the justification to go after the “terrorists” I fear what we may see here will be Nuclear. I hope I am wrong. It may be that Iran will fall relatively easily. It is true that the young people in Iran want to be free of the rule of the Mullahs. They do not have the natural divisions among the people that are found in Iraq.
This will give the “Beast” here much honor and glory Rv: 13:4: “And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” Americans will swell in national “Pride”, and “Patriotism”. Because their true god is Mammon, Capitalism run by the “Corporation”. This God is encouraged by the distractions of the Whore Babylon, Most of organized religion, the Religious Right and the Church of Rome. Her distractions are to bog people down with trivial things that all are guilty of committing. Straining at a gnat and swallowing a camel. They will go after Gays more and more even rounding them up and killing those that don’t fall in line. Rv:18:4: “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” (I am not saying that there are not real honest sincere believers in and among them, obviously there are, or the Word would not exhort us to come out of Her)
I have said before that George W. Bush has no intention of ever leaving office. Think about it, He can not; because if he were to lose control he would end up being tried for Treason and War Crimes. When the rest of the world finally sees and understands what is going on and what is happening with the building of the Revival of the Roman Empire; The land grab and control of the world Oil supplies in collusion with the Saudis, they will rise up. We will then see a confrontation with China, Russia and perhaps even Europe.
Hag:1:9: “Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.” The true Church, the body of believers is weak and without the power God intends because we are all doing our own thing, rather than building up the House of the Lord. That will change.

Believe and Be Baptized

When we hear the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, we encounter a person that can be life changing. As we read the Gospels you are faced with a life that is so different than anything we see in this world. Jesus said Jn: 14:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Some may react and say “How Dare He make such a claim” He was either crazy, a liar or He was just telling the Truth. Many different religions will try to point you in the direction of “Truth”; but Jesus said “I am the Truth” The truth now goes from some scattered bunch of ideas to a Person, a person that is GOD incarnate. Not only did he make this claim, but He then backed it up by rising from the dead. Peter said 2Pt:1:16: “For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.” What Peter is saying here is that they didn’t make this story up. He saw and heard the Master with his own eyes and ears. He was convinced enough to be willing to die for it, and he did. He was crucified upside down in Rome. I believe God required him to be martyred for us today. So we would see that he was convinced himself and it was indeed life changing and required his life here on Earth. I make this point as evidence of his faith. All of our faith is built on evidence. Let me make this analogy. When we go to sit in a chair we are willing to trust it because the evidence is such that you believe it will hold you. You look at it, and it seems strong, you may have seen others sit in it, and therefore based on the evidence you are willing to trust that it will hold you so you take a step of faith and sit in it. Then you have the knowledge that the step of faith you took was valid. We can only know God by faith. St. Augustine said “man seeks to have knowledge without faith, but without faith he will have neither knowledge nor faith.” Faith comes first, and then if the faith is real the knowledge and fruit will come as a result of that faith. Faith also grows. We must be faithful in that which is least in order to receive more. Lk: 16:10: “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.”
As we walk daily we have opportunities to trust him, and grow in faith.
Are you saying “ok ok what does this have to do with being baptized?” Well if you noticed the title of this post it is Believe and be Baptized so I wanted to touch on faith first because baptism is an act of faith.
The word Baptize comes from the Greek word “baptizo”. It means to wash and immerse/submerge. We are a three part being, Body Soul, and Spirit. So in a way there are three baptisms. When we come to Christ and encounter HIM, and I want to emphasize HIM, (not just some doctrine) something happens. We see a wisdom and a love that is far greater than what we have seen or known. I spoke of knowing God through His creation in another post, but there is obviously so much more revealed about Him in the written Word. When we truly meet the Lord, and we recognize the truth, something happens inside. Your heart and/or soul is moved. Then a decision is made because you have then also seen yourself. Hopefully that decision is to recognize that you want Him to be the Lord of your Life, not to be your own lord. You give yourself to Him who loved you and died for you. 1Cor:6:20 “ye are not your own for ye are bought with a price” and God breathes His spirit in you and you are “born again”. In a sense this is the baptism of the soul. I say Baptism because in a sense you are submerging your soul to submit to Him. Let me explain. The soul is the seat of the Will, Heart/Emotions and Mind/Intellect. Do you see the oneness and threeness again? I said we are a three part being and in each part there is the threeness again. We see this pattern in the Tabernacle of the congregation that the children of Israel carried through the wilderness. It is a type of the Body of Christ. There was the “Outer Court” it was significant of the Body which has three parts; Flesh, Blood, and Bone. These correspond to the three aspects of the outer court. The Gate/fence, Brazen Alter, and Bronze Laver (these can be a whole additional lesson). Then was the “Holy Place” It contained the “Table of Showbread” = The Will, which is displayed continually before God. It is submitted to God “Not my will but thine be done” also in the holy place was the “Golden Lamp stand” = The mind/intellect submitted to God “the mind of Christ the Wisdom of God” and last in the holy place was the “Alter of Incense” = The Heart/Emotions It was the sweet smelling savor that came up before the Throne of God in the Holiest of All. The Incense represented the worship, praise and prayers of the saints. Yes you guessed it the “Holiest of All” is representative of the Spirit. And we enter into the spirit through praise and worship “Hallowed be thy name” In the Holiest of All sat the “Ark of the Covenant” where God rested. Inside the Ark where three objects which represent the three aspects of the spirit. There was Moses tablets of stone = Faith, a bowl of Manna = Hope and Aarons rod that budded = Love
Salvation begins with the baptism of the soul; a calling upon God, a humbling yourself before Him, and submerging of your soul.
Water Baptism is the baptism of the body. It is a physical identification with the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Rom: 6: 3: “Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4: Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5: For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7: For he that is dead is freed from sin.”; This is the outward expression of a profession of faith. The old man is dead with Him on the Cross, and then we are buried under the water and come up in the likeness of His resurrection. 1Pt:3:21: “The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:” Peter is here telling us that baptism is a helpful part of our salvation. Sometimes people don’t exactly know when they were “Saved” or “Born again” (if you will excuse those religious right expressions, but they stole them from us and they are real.) It isn’t always because you said “The sinner’s prayer”. Sometimes it happens seemingly over a period of time, or you just always knew it in your heart. But then at some point you profess your faith Rom: 10:10: “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Then when you are baptized you know you have a time in space where you cut off the flesh by faith and identified with the Cross. Remember Jesus Himself was baptized. Mt: 3:14: “But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?” Mk: 16:16: “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” This verse sees baptism as part of being saved, the natural extension of faith; but notice it is the unbelieving that causes the damnation, not the failure to be baptized. It is meant to be a blessing and a joyful experience, not something that you should feel required to do, but something you desire to do. In the book of Acts it shows the believers where baptized. Acts: 8:12: “But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.” When people come to me and say “you mean I have to be baptized?” I say “no, you get to be baptized”. May I recommend the sea or a lake or a river? It doesn’t say anywhere in the scripture that it must be done by an “ordained minister” any believer will do, for you are doing it unto the Lord.
Acts: 2:38: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. This brings us to the third baptism, the “Baptism of the Spirit” Acts: 1:5: For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. I will do another post on the Baptism of the spirit. This is a whole other subject, but it is God empowering His Church.
Mt: 3:11: I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

The political arm of the Fundamentalists has boiled Christianity down to two issues; Abortion and Homosexuality. The truth is that those running these campaigns couldn’t care less about either issue, but see these as Hot button issues to polarize and mobilize voters. They presume to pretend they are of such high moral ground; as though they are not guilty of having had sex outside the marriage bond, and then they go around condemning others. "Know ye not that by what measure you judge you will be judged?" Are you going to tell us that the things they are accusing those others of, they themselves are not guilty of? Too bad these were not in the crowd with Jesus when the harlot was brought to Him for he truly would have found his men. The harlot surely would have been stoned. Hypocrites! Woe unto you, "the harlots shall go into the kingdom of God before you." Mt: 21:31. Who made them the judge over anyone's life choices? It was God who gave us a choice; it is Antichrist that would like to take it away. God would guide us into truth and He gave us a conscience so that we hopefully will make the right choice. Would you declare that we don't need the ability to choose anymore, because your righteousness has made that choice for us? I am not saying I believe in abortion, (as much as they want to frame it that way with right wing spin) but we know that life has many different turns and circumstances. Some have been raped or abused, or are in poverty. I agree that perhaps it is taken far too lightly and may be occurring far too often; but the answer to that would be counseling and teaching. We should help people care more about the sanctity of their own bodies. If it is outlawed, it will go underground and women will be butchered in back alleys. Who am I to tell anyone what is the right choice in their circumstance. I would just pray that they would make the right choice. Ah but you would say they are murdering babies, because they are making the wrong choice. That would be for God to decide. Let me remind you that God foreknowing the choice we would make in the garden, knowing that the wrong choice would bring the fall of man, with all its suffering; Knowing we would make the wrong choice, still allowed us the choice. It is man making himself God (antichrist) that would take away choice. To say that life begins at conception is a theological belief. It follows a line of thinking that conception if left to its natural path would result in a baby. That is true, but that doesn't mean that if interrupted at some early point, that it is at that point a baby with a soul. The belief that we should not interfere comes from a few scriptures like Mt: 19:6: “Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder” The problem is that these scriptures are dealing with marriage or being born again. On the other hand some would say that a child becomes a living soul with its first breath. Gen: 2:7: “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” It is amazing to me that anyone would be so adamant over a questionable soul, and have no regard over those that are unquestionable. The Bush's have killed hundreds of thousands so far. There is no shadowy theological question about that.
The other lie that has been spread to purely play on people’s prejudices is the Gay issue. The idea is that a gay person is automatically in sin and separated from God. This bigotry is preached from the pulpit of the Religious Right. You are lead to believe that homosexuality is a choice. That idea is completely unsubstantiated. Ask any gay person what they think. Yet these people automatically discount what gays say as unreliable and their word is reliable, even though they have not experienced what a gay person goes through. I would ask, “When did you choose to be straight?” I think that is an excellent question. Who in their right mind would choose a life of discrimination and persecution? If the homosexual has a promiscuous life, I would ask whose fault is that? I would give the blame to the Church. If you have been taught that you are condemned already, then why not just go and indulge all your lusts. There is a difference between love and lust, straight or gay. Mt: 23:13: “But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.” Christ died for Gay people also. As a result of the rejection they have experienced, many seek for a spiritual life in all kinds of places, from cults to Eastern religions. We as Christians are called to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom and lift up the glory of Jesus. Any cleaning up of our lives is done in the presence of God as we come boldly before His throne that we may receive grace to help. Heb: 4:16: “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” In other words we should not put the cart before the horse, we do not clean up our lives first in order to come before God; we come before God as we are and he cleans us up. To tell a gay person that he must stop being gay is the same as telling a straight person to stop being straight. To most of us that would seem just impossible. It is a part of your very fabric. Again in Matthew in the same passage dealing with shutting up the Kingdom we see this; Mt: 23:4: “For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.” I know that with God all things are possible, but it would appear that this is not an issue to God. Jesus never mentions it.
Even if it were important, where would you get that kind of grace to change? Only because you were in love with the Most High God, and to be in love you would need to be able to come as you are so you could know Him; not turned away before you are even getting started.
I think it would be important to look at exactly what the Bible does say about this subject, which is amazingly little. As Al Franken put it “if you took out of the Bible everything that has to do with homosexuality, you would wouldn’t even notice a difference; but if you took out everything that has to do with looking out for the down trodden and the sick and the poor, you would have a box just about the right size to smuggle Rush Limbaugh’s drugs in”. There is no question that Gods creation was meant to be for Man to desire a Woman. What most over look is that we are living in a fallen creation. There are all kinds of things that are not quite in the perfection that God intended. If a person is born with an abnormality would you say they are going to hell for it? No, and yet if the world were in Gods perfect order, there would be no imperfections.
First let’s deal with the passage in Leviticus 18:22 & 20:13 ““Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” The code of Laws and customs in Leviticus were not intended for Christians. We are not under the Law but under Grace. The Old Testament Law was meant to convict all of sin so that we would know we needed a savior. No Christian group would demand that we obey all the rules that are laid down in these verses. If we did we would have to keep the kosher laws as well. We don’t demand compliance with the other sexual rules in Leviticus. If we did, we could not touch our wives during her monthly cycle and we would allow polygamy, which is lawful in Leviticus. Unless you are willing and able to obey all the rules in Leviticus, you cannot blame the homosexual for not feeling bound to obey them. To point to these two verses and demand that kind of selective compliance is ludicrous and wrong.
I use in my discussion mostly the King James Version; it seems to have less of an axe to grind than many modern day translations.
Now what about Sodom? Genesis 19:1-29 If you read this passage you will see that it says in vs. 4 “All the men young and old” It is highly unlikely that a whole city was homosexual, the whole city may have been self indulgent and lustful, but not that they would have an orientation to homosexuality. It is also apparent that these men were not looking for a consensual good time; they wanted to rape the angels. It is also clear that these men were not just homosexual but looking to fulfill their lust, or Lot would not have offered them his daughters The true sin of Sodom is revealed to us in Ezekiel:16:49: Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fullness of bread, (it seems that one of the main accusers of the homosexual is guilty of this sin of Gluttony, Have a look at those cheeks on Jerry Falwell) and abundance of idleness (this is what our entire society is caught up in idolizing movie and sports stars) was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy (tax cuts for the rich and no health care for the poor). 50: And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good. This society had become completely self indulgent.
Now let us look at the New Testament. The one passage that is seemingly the most damning is Romans 1:18-29. This scripture is not what it appears to be on the surface. This is a condemnation of ungodly ritual indulgence, which worked up into a frenzy of all manner of sexual lust. This was not a condemnation of Love between two men or between two women. If you think it is, then it carries the same condemnation of “fornication”; but for some reason these modern day Pharisees seem to skip over that part. Because they are not looking for a way to redeem those whom Christ died for but rather to condemn in order to better justify their own self-righteousness. They fail to notice what it says just a few verses down. Romans 2: 1: “Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.”
This brings us to the passage in 1 Corinthians 6: 9: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, (I know that some new translations incorrectly have in this place the words “male prostitutes and homosexuals) 10: Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11: And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” Before I get into the break down of those words, I would call your attention to the other words that I have in bold letters. These carry equal weight. The word translated in the KJV as “effeminate” would have been better translated the “self-indulgent” Does this remind you of Sodom? That word could not have anything to do with being a homosexual, because although there are effeminate homosexuals, there are plenty of effeminate straight men as well. The reason the KJV writers used that word was because they were referring to the Kings of France as being self-indulgent prancing about in their frills and “girly-man” wigs. They were what were brought to the English’s mind when you used the word effeminate. The next words “abusers of themselves with mankind” would have been better translated as “exploitation” It may have had to do with male prostitutes, but also any kind of prostitution. It was actually directed at those that used the prostitutes more so then those that were being used. They are more the victims of abuse. In our society we are surrounded with all kinds of exploitation; from the Rich to the Corporations. Anytime you do something for your advantage or pleasure that uses another, or takes advantage of their situation is to exploit them.
Unfortunately there many gay men that perhaps because of guilt or being told they must be straight end up marrying and then sneak around behind their wives back. They deny there true identity to themselves and others and as a result have a secret life. When and if they are exposed it is often disastrous to them and their families. Some even committing suicide. What a shame. Then there are those that try to combat it within themselves buy becoming “homophobic homosexuals” or “self-loathing.” Then some become just plain hypocrites. Here are a few examples. This is from the New York Times on April 9, 2005 The Article “G.O.P. Consultant Weds His Male Partner” “Arthur J. Finkelstein, a prominent Republican consultant who has directed a series of hard-edged political campaigns to elect conservatives in the United States and Israel over the last 25 years, said Friday that he had married his male partner in a civil ceremony at his home in Massachusetts.”He was actively anti-gay. Or how about this “Two men have told a Spokane, Washington, newspaper that Mayor Jim West offered them jobs after meeting in a gay Internet chat room.” Article says how he fought against any gay equality issues.

By this discussion I am not saying that the homosexual or anyone else is not called to righteousness. They are responsible for moral behavior that is not destructive to themselves or others just like everyone else that wants to know a walk with God.
I am saying though that a committed relationship based in Love can be blessed by God. It says in Hebrews 13:4: "Marriage is honorable in ALL, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge." (It does not say in that passage the marriage is only honorable between a man and a woman) Gal: 3:28: "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."
I realize that many are coming from a position that has been held since the middle ages. Perhaps it is time that these issues are reexamined. I believe that the truth of Gods word is being progressively restored to His Church. No question that Gods perfect order is for one man and one woman to be in a loyal blissful marriage, but unfortunately that is rare. There is a 1.Good and 2.Acceptable and 3.Perfect will of God. Rom.12.1. or none of us would marry for that is what Paul thought would be best. I am fully aware that many will disagree with this post, but my intent is not to convince everyone, but to win those that may be alienated from the Lord to "Come unto Him" Eph:1:6: To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. Let each person come before God and seek what is Gods will for their life according to His Word and their conscience. Titus:1:15: "Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled."
Lastly George W Bush may be guilty of both these things he has fought against. Abortion and Gay Rights. Now isn’t that just like the Antichrist.
We are taught by Gods word that “The truth will make you free” Jn:8:32 This teaching has liberated many to come to the Love of Christ.


We are also taught buy our Lord in Mathew 7:15: “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16: Ye shall know them by their fruits.” Now when you look at this passage, we can understand several things, one thing that would be clear is that a false prophet would teach false doctrine and false doctrine would bring forth bad fruit, as good doctrine would bring forth good fruit. Also notice that they are in sheep's clothing, which would say they are seemingly gentle and perhaps well meaning and as a sheep, maybe part of the “Flock”; but their motives are not Godly. They want to divide and concur, which is the tactic that the Republican, religious right power hungry leaders have as their intent.

Finally I would point out that Jesus tells us that we will know them not by their doctrine, but buy the end result of their doctrine “the fruit”. We are many times confused by doctrine, and men have disagreed through the ages. The smartest of men are still dumb when we look at the Wisdom of God. So Jesus made it more simple for us. He was saying here that you are not smart enough to always know the correct doctrine, so look at the end result. The “Fruit” We know what the fruit of the spirit is from Gal:5:22 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,23: Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Now look at the fruit of the teaching of the fundamentalists on this subject. Young kids kill themselves, or bullies beat them up. Parents reject their own children, Men or women get married trying to hide who they are, and end up sneaking around behind their spouses backs, and not only ruin their own lives but also ruin the lives of the wife or husband they may take. These things are just “the tip of the ice berg”

These people know what it means to be despised and rejected of men.

Why Does God Hate Sin?

How is it that people have such a perverse understanding of the nature of God? Do we think He is some kind of dummy? This shows us how little we know about Him and His nature. The religious world has painted a picture of God as this big mean angry old man stomping around heaven with a big stick telling us not to have a good time; ready to strike you if you are doing something wrong. People have this image of God being all pissed off all the time. This is not the case at all. At least not yet, that day will come at Judgment. First let me remind you of my post about why God made man. He made mankind for love. Our self centered little lives can’t comprehend the degree in which God loves us. Eph: 3: 17: “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18: May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19: And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.” Why am I talking about the love of God in relation to sin? I was kind of hoping a light bulb would go on in your head. Did it?
It is because of His Love that God hates sin. Sin hurts the object of His love, therefore He HATES it. Sin doesn’t hurt God anymore. It hurt Him on the Cross, but now it hurts us and keeps us from Him because it destroys faith, and our lives.
I wonder how many parents out there when disciplining their children don’t explain the reason for the discipline. The child asks “Why?” and the reply comes back “Because!!!” When we understand the reason for the correction, it becomes much more effective. It helps us to see the wisdom in following the will of our parents or Gods word.
Some sin only affects us, but in most cases it affects others as well; usually many others. Some is willful, some is from habit, some is from deception and some is because we don’t understand or know any better. We sin because it is our nature, Rom: 7: 21: I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22: For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24: O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? In Romans: 6:23: it tells us “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” The Bible banger types use that scripture as a threat, but it was just meant as instruction, declaring what happens as a result of sin. It works death in your members.
Man in himself is incapable of pleasing God, so no matter how hard we try, we can not. That issue was paid at the cross. God is able to embrace us because we have been washed by the blood of Jesus. So the issue of sin as an obstacle to come before God is no longer the case. The reason to flee from sin now is not because it hurts God but because it hurts us the object of His Love. Most sin comes from pride at the root, and pride is the result of separation form God. Ultimately we are all insecure, so we try to escape from that insecurity through many different paths. We were told by the Devil in the Garden that we are “Gods” but for some strange reason the rest of creation hasn’t noticed that you are really all that wonderful; so you set about to prove it. People do this by many different means. They try to impress you with their talent or their wealth and show off how ever they think they can impress. Sometimes we even resort to embellishing how wonderful we are with lies. Why do we do this? What we really want is to be loved. When we try to impress, and exult ourselves, all we do is create resentment and/or stir in others the same deception; a competition to be better than you or a struggle to keep up. That won’t get you love, but it will get you resented. I have wonderful news. If you want to be loved, give Love. You will reap what you sow. Francis of Assisi prayed; Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen
You don’t have to be rich and famous to give love. Others will lap it up like a sponge.
You can spend your life striving to be rich or famous, but without love, you are nothing 1Cor:13.
I believe God would have us know why sin is wrong and bad for us. For example: Sex is inferred to be so sinful, but why? We tell our young people to abstain from sex but hardly ever give them any real reasons why. I have preached that; many times the good can be the enemy of the best. God gave us sex as a type of the ecstasy we can experience with God. We are the bride of Christ. It is an expression of love and oneness. The marriage is a picture of the Bride and Bridegroom, the relation between God and man. Just as we are to have no other God and be loyal to God we are to be loyal to one another in marriage. This helps us to understand the fullness of what God has given; but sex can be destructive in many ways. It can become as a lust that will consume you, never able to get enough, which then becomes all about self gratification. If you feed a fire it becomes bigger, it does not satisfy the fire, the more you feed it the bigger it gets. It can break the heart of another, not to mention that a child my result. Then of course there are STDs to be concerned with. I bring this up because sexual sins seem to be the one of main focus of the Religious Right. It is something they can convict most of, yet it is the one that the Lord seemed to have the most mercy for. I could go on and on about the various traps that can be associated with sex, love and self gratification. My main point is to have a look at yourself and see if your life is on a self destructive path, or if it is exploiting another, because therein lays the evils of sex, what it can do to you and others.
John boiled sin down into three categories. 1Jn:2:16: “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, (sex and gluttony) and the lust of the eyes (covetousness), and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” It is important to truly believe in Gods forgiveness. Otherwise when we try to pray we feel guilt. Then you begin to believe a lie and fall away. God wants to save us and bring us into the fullness of what he has for us. If our heart is to please God we come boldly before the throne of grace Heb: 4:16 and our attention will go from our wretchedness to His wondrous splendor. He is like a refiner’s fire and it is in his presence that we will be conformed into his image.
So far in this post I have been discussing the kind of sin that the humble heart realizes he is guilty of as he tries to draw near to God. In a scene it is a good thing to feel your unworthiness and that you question your own heart; but it is of utmost importance that we trust in Gods forgiveness. I believe we understand more of Gods forgiveness as we forgive others. In fact God forgives us in the same proportion as we forgive others. Remember what Jesus says in the Lords Prayer? “Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those that trespass against us.” Thus Forgiving builds our faith to truly receive and trust in the forgiveness of God. 1Pt:5:6: “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:”
I would have to say that the worst kind of Sin is that which most are blind to; The Pride of Life. It is pride that is the most destructive to the world. It is the haughtiness of the Religious Right that turns them into Pharisees; looking to take the speck out of everyone else’s eyes, while ignoring the log in there own. Trying to convict others of sin and lay heavy burdens on them, to keep people oppressed with guilt. They strain at a gnat and swallow a camel. What was really the true sin of Sodom? Ezekiel tells us. Ezek: 16:49: “Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, PRIDE, fullness of bread, and abundance of idleness (wealth) was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. 50: And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.” (For you Rapture people out there, again it was the wicked that were taken). I believe this is a sin against the Holy Ghost. It is unforgivable because it is unrepentant. It is unrepentant because they are blind to it; they are blind to it because they know not the Father nor the Son, regardless of what their doctrine may be.
When Jesus was in the Garden and prayed that “this cup” be removed and He sweat blood, it was not that he was afraid of the suffering and the death on the cross. What do you suppose was so repulsive to him? It was what was in the cup, and what would happen when he took it. It was the Sin and Iniquity of all mankind. This Holy Body that had never known sin was now to become sin for us. When he took the cup of sin it separated him from the Father; A separation that had never occurred before. Now we can begin to understand why he was repulsed to have to take this cup; “but not as I will but as Thou willeth”. This is why when he was dying on the cross he cried “Father why hast thou forsaken me?” Not that God had forsaken Him, but it appeared to Jesus that He had; because He was now like us, blinded by sin. Oh what Great LOVE He has for us to have laid down His life and experience separation from the Glorious Light of the Father.

Watching and Waiting

As I read so many posts on the blogs, and listen to “Progressive Talk Radio” I fear that very few understand what we are up against, and what is really happening. Part of the problem is that even Christians think that Jesus is someone to be added to our plans. We are going along our merry way and have a spiritual encounter, add Jesus, and continue along our merry way. True Biblical Christianity is about something much bigger. It is not something you add to your life, it is what life is all about. We were not made to have our nice little life, or accumulate as much wealth as we can and ask God to bless it. We are all looking for that place of comfort, peace and rest. It only exists in the presence of God. Mt: 11:28: “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
We in America act like democracy and capitalism are infallible. These philosophies are only as good as the people that implement them. Our founding fathers realized this; that is why they instituted the systems of checks and balances. They had seen what tyranny and religious oppression had brought upon the people of Europe. The people that fled to America came here to be FREE from those unjust rulers. America had a vision to treat all men justly. All had the God given right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Today the Neo-Cons have all but destroyed our two party system. (It was meant to be a several party system) They control the White House, the Senate, The Congress, The Supreme Court,
The Media and most of the major corporations. We had a battle against the forces of darkness right from the start. Not only did we slaughter the original citizens of this land, but the effort to have a ruling class and oppress others had taken root as well. They justified a slave class so some could enjoy a leisurely life. Though our founding fathers for the most part may not have been Christians, they had a heart for their fellow man. Rom: 2:14: “For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:”
Many well meaning Christians are praying for America. We would like to see us get back on track, to fix the mess we are in. This is all well and good, but let’s not lose sight of what is really happening. Everything man touches and endeavors to bring about without the guidance of God will become corrupt. God is well aware of what is happening now. I don’t want to sound like a fatalist, but this has been foretold. It is fine to pray for us to keep the status quo, but it is more productive to pray according to His will. Even Jesus didn’t want to bear the cup of mans iniquity, and prayed that the Father would remove it, but prayed “not as I will, but as thou wilt”. God is not up in heaven sitting on the edge of his throne scratching his head wondering what is going to happen next. He is bringing about his will.
One step has led to another to bring history to this point. We have seen forerunners to the Antichrist in history. We have declared our disdain for the atrocities of Hitler, yet the power of deception has blinded the masses again in the person of George W. Bush. Not because either were so intelligent or clever but because there is a far superior intelligence behind them (and I don’t mean Carl Rove). It is a spirit, the Prince of Darkness and the Father of Lies. Eph: 6:12: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”. Both Hitler and Bush claimed to be the nation's leader and had not been elected by a majority vote, and many citizens claimed he had no right to the powers he coveted. Both used a terrorist attack to motivate the masses behind them; Hitler because of an attack on one of the countries most prestigious buildings, Bush because of the World Trade Center. The next step both used was to invoke fear and manipulate the media to control the masses. Both declared a vision of world domination and started a war without provocation. So pervasive was their deceptive powers that they were even able to distort the teachings of Christianity to a self indulgent body of supposed believers. If Jesus were to walk into most churches today and had short hair and maybe dressed in casual clothes, would you be able to recognize him? If He were to walk in with long hair and tattered clothes he might even get thrown out. Likewise unless the devil walked in wearing a red jump suit, horns and a pitchfork, few if any would be aware of his presence. Why do you suppose that is? How are we suppose to recognize the devil or Christ? We know them by their spirit. Jn: 10:14: “I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.” This is one reason it is so important to walk the walk not just talk the talk, for it is in the walk that we know Him and his voice. Jn: 17:25: “O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.” The world doesn’t recognize the Antichrist, because he is just like them. He has the same values; self first. As a seed is planted and grows into a tree, then over time it bears fruit. We have a self indulgent society, which lives buy the god of Mammon. This is not a Democrat or Republican thing, both sides have become corrupt. The problem we have with the Democrats is that it is hard to agree on spiritual principals, since their approach is more like the Sadducees. They like to believe that truth is relative. Therefore it is harder to find common ground. I do believe though that the principals put forth by the Democrats today are more closely aligned with the teachings of Christ As though the “law was written in their heart”. The Republican Party on the other hand seems to have been taken control of by an extreme group of Pharisaical Hippocrates. When you can focus on a FLASH point you can motivate people; even if what you have used is a lie and at another group of peoples expense. This was a tactic used by the Nazis. They villainized the Jews and used Christianity; much the same way the strategists of these evil empire builders have used anger and fear issues like abortion and gay rights. I would like to point out the subtleties here. To believe in choice is not the same as believing in abortion. God gave us a choice in the garden, but they don’t care about that, they think they can legislate righteousness. Choice is fundamental in a walk with God. Then they attack Gay people whom Christ died for. They call them Sodomites, they call homosexual love sodomy. I would like for a moment here to look at what the Bible says about Sodom. In Gen.19 if you read the account, it says ALL the men young and old came wanting to “Know” those men (Angels) that were in Lots house. Now it is not likely that ALL the men of the city where homosexual, and if they were why did Lot offer them his daughters? No, this was an act of violent rape. The Sin of Sodom was something more then homosexuality. As I have taught in another post, The Bible must interpret itself, not some right wing Fundamentalist. In Ezekiel: 16:49 it says “Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fullness of bread, (have you had a look at porky gluttonous Jerry Falwell lately?) and abundance of idleness (the idle rich) was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy”. Who are the REAL SODOMITES!!! We are a society that will pay a basket ball player, a movie star or rock star tens of millions of dollars for a performance to entertain us in our “abundance of idleness” because we are trying to escape from our conscience, and will not look after the poor or needy.
The leaders of these deceived Fundamentalists and their false Prophets are no more interested in the souls of the lost, then they are in eating a dead skunk. Gay people are told they must stop being gay; an idea that to a gay person seems impossible. Mt: 23:4: “For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.” They have put the cart before the horse. They say you must get clean so you can come to God. The correct approach to liberate anyone would be to tell of the beauty and wonders of Jesus. Jn: 12:32: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” Any changes that need to be done will be done because of the love in the presence of God. Just as I am I come Lord Jesus. If we needed to get clean first, no one would make it. It is astounding to see the degree of hypocrisy and self loathing on the part of the Right Wing. A self loathing homosexual . He helped deliver hard-edged political campaigns to elect conservatives that fiercely opposed gay rights, defeating Democrats by trying to demonize them as liberal. Now this man Arthur J. Finkelstein has married his long time gay partner “to ensure that the couple had the same benefits available to married heterosexual couples.” Talk about hypocrisy!!!
We used to take comfort in the fact that when ever the pendulum swung too far to one extreme there would be a reaction that would bring it back into balance. What we see now is an effort and conspiracy to control so pervasively that the return to balance will not happen. There is plenty of reason to believe that the last two presidential elections were stolen, and they have no intention of being “voted” out of office. I would also urge you to find out who was really behind. 9/11 . Stephen Hanchett has presented an excellent case that George W. Bush is the final Antichrist in both his book and on his web sites. (links to both on the side panel here). It boggles the mind to think they could be behind such a thing as 9/11, but if he is who we think he is, we haven’t seen anything yet. Our whole system has become so corrupt at this point; that I fear that there is no way out. What should we that see these things be doing? Spread awareness of the gospel and that the Kingdom of God is at hand. We must begin to come together with other like minded believers so that we may grow in wisdom and truth; that we may uphold one another. Many will think you are nuts, I already know this, they think it now of me. John: 1:10: “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not”. 2Tm:1:7: “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind”. There is much to learn. There is much to understand. The Time is at hand. The birth pangs have begun. This new age is dawning.

The Heavens are Telling the Glory of God

Many ask about those that may never have had the opportunity to hear the gospel. What about them? Can they be saved? What about those that are born into other religions, and are “good people”. You mean they must become Christians to be saved? How dare you say that Jesus is the only way.
Does any of this sound familiar to you? I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I will endeavor to try to clear up some of those questions.
First let me say I did not say Jesus is the only way, Jesus did. John:14:6: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Now He is either crazy, or a liar, or he is just telling us the truth. It would save us all a lot of trouble if we would just believe Him. I know it is not that easy so let us start with the native that lives on the third planet from the sun, on a tiny imaginary island in the middle of the jungle. He has never even seen a missionary trying to steal his gold in exchange for the gospel. How can he have heard of Jesus and know of the crucifixion? The Bible says Acts: 4:12: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (the name Jesus) No where in the Bible does it say you must know that name, it says there is no other. Let us remember who the Bible teaches that Jesus is. He is the Almighty all Powerful, Omnipotent God become man. In order for any man any where any time to know God, he must seek. If you do not seek you do not find. So let us say this native man is seeking God, how can he find him and be saved?
Ps: 19:1: “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork.” Rom: 1:20: “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”
What this is saying is that we can learn a great deal about God by His creation, “even his eternal power and Godhead” As we look around we ask where did it all come from? What is the purpose? We can see that this creator or “source” has order. There is order in the universe. The Sun rises and sets, the seasons work on schedule, everything seems to be in balance. The rains water the earth and new replaces the old. So we can know that he is a God of order. We can also know that “It” has intelligence, because I have intelligence. The cause would have to be greater than the effect. My source would have to have at least the intelligence that I have. We can also see that “It” would have a personality, again because I have one. As we look around at civilizations, and we interact with others, we see there is a standard of right and wrong, that is beyond self. Every civilization and society knows there is a standard. All know that lying and stealing and cheating are not good qualities. We may have disagreed on some points like how many wives you can have but all know you can’t just have whomever you want. All know that selfishness is not a good quality. Now is the tricky part. Universally man knows that there is a standard, and if he is honest, he must acknowledge in his heart that he is not living by that standard he himself knows to be right. At that point, he can either harden his heart and justify his actions in his own mind, or he can humble himself and call on this “Being” that made that standard to have mercy on him. That I believe is a salvation experience. Nowhere are we told that we must know that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, but nevertheless it is because He did, that he can be saved whether he knows it or not. To know the story is an added blessing and is food for spiritual growth. To say that he must know the name of Jesus (and there is no other name) or the plan of salvation to be saved; is like saying that if a man is drowning and is passed out, that you can not rescue him because he doesn’t know who or how he is being rescued. Now we are just talking about basic salvation from damnation. I believe as a man surrenders to God, he puts his spirit in him, and he is born and saved. Remember I have said in other posts, we are not just called to be born.
Now let’s look at other religions of the world and the people that are steeped in their culture. It is very hard for a Jew or a Muslim or a Hindu that have been raised in that, and they have families that have been that way, to ever turn against their traditions or against those whom they love. Most people of those faiths are no more involved with the actual religion than most so called Christians are. It is merely a heritage and tradition to them. They just want the same things in life everyone else wants. To be fed, clothed, sheltered, and provide for their families. The key here again is a seeking heart. If you do not seek you do not find. If you seek, God will find you, and the same thing happens as the native in the jungle. God looks upon the heart; His ways are not our ways. God is just. Remember I have said that there are many that know the doctrines but do not know God, (like the Pharisees) and many that do not know the doctrine but do know God. 2Cor:3:6: .. for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
Now you may ask what is the use of doctrine? It is meant for spiritual growth and understanding and to communicate His word. Deut:8:3: “that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.”
Man is finite and God infinite, we can never understand him except he reveals himself to us. All systems of religious works are man’s endeavor to somehow be worthy or deserve Gods favor. True Biblical Christianity teaches us that we can never deserve it. This leads us to the “good person” Mk: 10:18: “And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.” Rom: 3:23: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Jn: 3:17: “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” Rom: 5:8: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Most of what I have said here is mainly hypothetical. It is meant as an effort to give an answer to those so common questions. In some cases there are those that are not really seeking an answer. Their question is merely a road block. Have you ever asked your self, why are you, you, here and now? Why where you born into what ever family or country you are in?
It was God that chose it and placed you here and now. So there is no one on the face of this earth that has ever lived that God doesn’t know about. Mt: 10:30: “But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.” I have talked about predestination and free will in another post.
Let us continue with the theme of this post. In Psalm 19, and Romans 1 that I quoted above, the Bible is telling us God has made the creation as a picture of understanding spiritual truth. The Sun is a type of Jesus. He is the “light of the world “ it is the lifegiving source to every living thing on this planet. The Sun sets and rises again. We are the children of the day and not of the night. The Day Star. Mal:4:2: “But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun (spelled S-U-N, this is evidence that it is a type of Jesus) of righteousness arise with healing in his wings;.” I am not saying that the sun is God, or even a manifestation of God, or divine in any way. The sun is merely part of His creation. I have said it is a TYPE of understanding spiritual truth. No man has seen God the Father for he is Spirit, but when we do see God what we see is the Son, because the Son is the expression of the Father. Jesus was that Burning bush. He was the Rock that followed the children of Israel through the wilderness. In the Gospel of John, chapter 1 it says that the "Word" was made flesh. The word that is translated for WORD is from the Greek word LOGOS. It means the intent or expression. Jesus is the eternal preexistent expression of the Father. The Sun is such a strong type and so powerful an image, that it has caused many a civilization to worship it as God. The Sun is finite, the Son Jesus is Infinite. True it is the giver of natural life to everything on this planet. BUT!!! Natural life is temporal. Jesus gives us eternal life. Water is also vital to life, nothing can live without it. Water is a type of the Holy Spirit, as is the Wind, but still ONLY the creation helping to lead us to the truth in the Eternal Spirit of God. I would like to add that the Sun is not only showing a type of the Son, but the Father and Holy Spirit also. We again see the idea of the Triune God. Think of it this way. The power that is the source of its energy is the Father. We don’t see the power; we see the brilliance of its fireball or the manifestation of that power. What we see is the Son. We are enabled to see it and feel its heat by its Rays, which is a TYPE of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit makes Him known unto us. The moon is a type of Satan. It has no light of it’s own but appears as though it has light. It is the ruler of darkness. Lunar is where we get the word Lunatic. The Stars are a type of the saints and angels. They are lights in a dark place. The stars also are telling us much more. Remember they are a type of the Angels and saints. Lights in a dark place. That means they have a message. In the verse in Romans, it says that even the invisible things of God may be known, In other words more than just the basics. Ps.19:1: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2: Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3: There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. (it has gone everywhere) 4: Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them (the heavens) hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5: Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man (like Hercules) to run a race. 6: His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. What King David is talking about here is the Gospel that is written in the stars. The Astroligical symbols are very ancient. They are even mentioned in the Book of Job, which is the oldest written book of the Bible. It was written before Genesis. Job:38:31: “Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion 32: Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth (the Twelve signs) in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?” There are no civializations that don’t know about them. They were never meant to be a fortune telling divination as we see used today. They are given as messengers of the Gospel and Gen.1: 14: says “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:” I won’t go to far into intrepting them in this post, but I will just point out a few things. The Sphinx in Egypt is a Key as to where to begin and end the Astroligical wheel. The head of the Virgin and the body of the Lion. We begin with Virgo the Virgin, and end with Leo the Lion. The very first prophecy in the Bible having to do with the coming of the Massiah is he will be born of the seed of a woman Gen.3:15., and Isaiah 7:14 he tells us that the woman will be a virgin. Hence Virgo the virgin. She has in one hand a “Branch” Jesus was called the Branch of the stem of Jesse. The other hand she has a sheve of wheat. The star of the first magnitude in the sheve means “falling into the ground and dying” Associated with Virgo is the lesser constelation of Comah, which means “Desired of all nations” It is a Virgin women with a child in her lap. Leo the Lion is Jesus as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Twelve Tribes, twelve signs. We see Herculies the strong man doing battle with the surpent and his foot on Drago the dragon’s head. Now Astrologers tell us we are leaving the age of Pisces the fish. The Church is symbolized by the fish pictured as bound by Cetus the sea monster. We are leaving the Church age and entering the Age of Aquarius, the water barrer. He is pictured as pouring water out into the mouth of the fish. The water is signifacant of the spirit. The Trinity is also consistent with his entire creation. There is oneness and threeness in everything. We are a three part being, Body, Soul and Spirit. We are Flesh, Blood and Bone. All that we perceive is perceived in terms of Time, Space and Mass-Energy. In time there is Past, Present, and Future. In space there is Height, Width and Depth. In Mass-Energy there are Positive, negative and Neutral. You can never have one without the other two. God spoke all things into existence. He said “Let there be” and “All things are upheld by the word of His power”. If the Sun in the sky is of such brilliance and glory, and it is only the creation, imagine the brilliance of the Creator, “Who is blessed forever. Amen” and Amen. May God Bless us with the truth of Him.
