Consider the Birds of the Air

I would like to give you a little background to my life. When I got out of school I moved to New York to make my mark like we are raised to do and landed a high power job in Wall Street as a trader. I used to know Michael Bloomberg back in those days he was a trader on the desk at Solomon Brothers now he is the mayor of New York City. I was hanging out with many of the very rich and famous and was doing very well with my career. The love of money was our common God. My friends were very rich but very selfish, self indulgent and not very happy. It was the beginnings of our “Me first generation” 2Tm:3: 1: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2: For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3: Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4: Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; This was the real reason God judged Sodom and Gomorra. Ezek:16:49: Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fullness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
I began to realize the emptiness of their money. In the midst of this I found a rare Christian friend, Don. We became close and we had planed to share a large apartment together off of 5th av. A few days before we were going to move in he had gone over to the Apt to do some cleaning. He was trying to clean behind the refrigerator, and by a freak accident, he was electrocuted. I found him there cold and dead. I was devastated.
I had considered myself to have been on a spiritual quest, learning about eastern religions and other philosophies; and I kinda thought I had my act together, but when I found him my world came crashing down. At Dons funeral I met a man of God that I would consider to have been a prophet. He was the first man I had met that I thought really had some answers to the truth of Christianity. Some of what you see coming from my ministry has been a result of his influence. He had given me much to think about before I finally gave my life to the Lord. About a month after Don's death I was still very torn up. One night I was laying in my bed saying to myself "Why? Why? Why? What difference would it have made if he had never lived." and I heard a voice. At the time I heard it I thought I heard it audibly, though because of my state of mind I wouldn't swear to it. I looked around my apartment and under my bed to see where the voice came from and there was no one there. So I sat back down on my bed and thought about what the voice had said “Profit by it". I said to myself "WOW wouldn't it be incredibly selfish of me to profit by such a loss". Then the voice was clearly inside of me and said " if you don't profit by it then it really is a loss" and at that moment as in a vision I saw like a pebble drop into a pond and the ripples went on out into infinity. I realized that in taking Don God reached me and I would reach others and on and on. Everything that happens is an opportunity to grow. I could have hardened my heart, or let even more love flow through me. By the grace of God I believe I made the right choice. I could now see that Jesus was the whole purpose of life. My Wall Street friends thought I was nuts. I then resigned my job and moved to Virginia to a Bible training center to study under this man I had mentioned before. God did many mighty things through him.
I got married and we had three children. I was ordained by this ministry and had hands laid on me and was sent out and moved to Danville Va. It was there that Sonshine Farm was born.
As we grew in size and recognition in the community around us, more and more of the people that came were professionals and a wealthier class began to come to the meetings and services as well. I allowed myself to name some as "Elders" solely because of their money and position in the community. In the back of my mind I knew this was wrong, but I rationalized it. I wrongly thought that we needed what they could put in the collection plate. They were not Elders spiritually. They wanted to take the church in a different direction and I was against it. After all the miracles that God had shown me in His ability to provide for His will, I had apparently still doubted Him. I then realized that if I ever gave them the opportunity to stab me in the back, they would. Well I gave them that opportunity. I fell into a sexual sin. It came to the surface, and they along with some pastors from other communities where I had traveled to teach came together and were incredibly hateful to me. I am sure that if it had been legal to put me to death they would have. They told me I had never met the Lord or I could never have done such a thing. I was devastated and disgraced. I left and moved to Durham to be under a ministry that I thought was trying to be of help. Well he also kept crushing me. I finally just said Lord I have got to just think about taking care of my family. I went back to work as a Stock Broker, because I knew that field.
God then seemed to remove his anointing from Sonshine Farm and many in the fellowship moved away and fell away, and the church is now kind of like a denominational church being pastured by a former Baptist minister. As a community we had been networked with several other similar Christian communities in and around cities across the country. Several had been patterning themselves after what we were doing, and I had taught at most of them. Even the “Heritage USA” (founded by Jim Baker from PTL Club fame), disaster originally got its twisted vision from what they saw and heard about at Sonshine Farm. Strangely at about the same time they all seemed to collapse for one reason or another. It was as though God had given us a glimpse of what was to come, a taste of how “Good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity”; and then blew upon it and said this is yet for another day.
I believe that perhaps I needed to be put on the shelf for a season. We see this in scripture in several cases. Paul had a vision from God and immediately had to run out and be the manager of the Universe telling all the other elders in Jerusalem how things should be done. God had to put him on the back side of the mountain for a while maturing him and refining him as an instrument in Gods Hand. Moses was raised in Pharaohs house; surely he was qualified to lead Gods people. Well not exactly. He was smart in a worldly way, but He had to be taught that God’s ways are not our ways. God put him on the back side of a mountain for 40 years. God had to break him of any desire to be great among the people. He had to be taught what a Shepherd was. As long as we have a desire to lead, we are not able to. The way up is the way down. Mt:23:11: But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
Well after leaving this ministry I just wanted to take care of my family and pursue my own financial success; the same struggle that all mankind is caught up in. One day after having started my new job I was walking down the street reflecting on all that had happened, and asked God “Why” again. Why was it that the principals of capitalism seem to work so well and the ways of your kingdom seemed to have fallen apart? God answered me and said “because capitalism is based on mans primary sin, SELFISHNESS and GREED. The Kingdom works on the opposite, SELFLESSNESS and GIVING. In this fallen creation, man lives according to his bassist desires and needs. He lives for self. In the Kingdom, we must die to self and live for others. This is completely contrary to the ways of this world. In order to walk this walk we must have trust and faith in our heavenly Father. The more you trust in your own abilities the more insecure you become and the farther you are from God. We are all wondering where is the power of God in the Church? Why are we in this mess in the world? I will quote again the verse that God gave us when Sonshine was born. Hag:1:9: Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.
I had struggled for years with guilt over my sins, and my marriage failing. I did believe that regardless of what happened to the relationship between me and my wife, I was still responsible for taking care of them. I felt that if I had to sleep in the street I would, but I wanted to make sure that my children were taken care of and had the opportunity to go to college. Hopefully I didn’t train them to well in the way of this present world. I now try to show them there is another Kingdom that is coming.
I never turned my back on the Lord but was living for my self. I suffered through many hardships, but God was faithful through it all. I had to see that God meant business when he said He would take care of us. He proved it to me over and over through the years. Sometimes I felt I was about a quarter of an inch before hitting the concrete, but He always caught me. Then I saw the Truth of what had happened at Sonshine Farm. My real sin was not my sex failure, but that I had seen God provide and I still did not trust Him. I put people in leadership that the Lord did not, so I didn’t need to quite live by faith; I new that these wealthy people would put money in the church. Heb:10:38: Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. My failure came as a result of my pulling back from trusting in God.
Mt:6:26: Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27: Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28: And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30: Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31: Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32: (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. I must say that my life has been rerevolutionized since the events of 9/11. The Lord has also used the insight that has been shown in what Stephen Hanchett has written in his book. I had a new fire lit under me as a result of seeing the deceptiveness of evil. The devil knows his days are numbered. As the darkness gets darker the Light of God will get brighter. I do believe that Jesus is building His Church which is the Temple. (not the one in Jerusalem) The Body of Christ will come together. We will not be running to accomplish our own plan for our life. Most that come to Jesus just add Him to their plans but God wants us to drop our plans and seek His plan. I do believe that a form of what you read about in Sonshine Farm is already beginning again. I see the pieces starting to fall into place; and I am quite certain that this vision is being given to many again in this day. I can not make anything happen, I have no ambition to make it happen, But the Lord knows I am available. It is His Church, and His body and He will build it. Mt:6:10: Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

A Vision To Come Again

This was written by me almost 30 years ago. I have changed some of the tenses from present to past. This was a real fellowship that was based upon the Church in the “Book of Acts”. It lasted for about 7 years. I believe this could be a pattern for what God may do again in the days ahead.

Origin

Several years ago during a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit, a small group of believers was formed, Having come out of a critical time of national unrest in the '60's, there developed an awareness of many of the problems, false values, and overly materialistic philosophies that had become entrenched in our society. This laid the ground work in the hearts of many young people to search for a higher and more excellent way. A search not just to improve this existing system, which is corrupt even at its core, but for a whole new kingdom — The Kingdom of God! The Lord began to gather these new generation Christians in a rented house in Danville, Virginia, which came to be known as the Hallelujah House. As we began to worship and express our love for our new found King, the Lord Jesus Christ, He began to move and teach and impart a vision of community as a manifestation of the Kingdom of God in the earth. It was there, with the helpful leadership of PeterZ, that Sonshine Farm was born! Jesus said, "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid." Matthew 5:14. A city is a gathering of indivi­dual lights. Alone our light can be hidden, but corporately that light cannot be hidden. Community is first established in the heart as we become committed one to another in love, "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one for another." John 13:35. Once this work was done in our hearts, God would supply the land to accomplish His plan. As we began to looking, God led Peter to a place near the Virginia-North Carolina line about 10 miles east of Danville. As he drove up the hill to the old farm house, the word of the Lord came to him and said, "This is the place," The run down old house, built before the Civil War, sat on top of a hill with a beautiful view of the Dan River Valley, The place was in terrible shape and the grounds were all overgrown, it looked a lot like we do before the Lord gets hold of us; filthy on the Inside and run down on the outside.

That same night, we came together to pray and ask God to confirm this word. Peter flipped open his Bible, and his eyes fell on Haggai 1:15 which said, "In the four and twentieth day of the sixth month," (That would be June 24 in our calendar) which just happened to be the exact day that it was: so we looked back to the beginning of the chapter to see what it was that happened in that day and began to read. The prophet seemed to be describing the condition of the country and the church today. In the verse 7 & 6, it says, "Thus saith the Lord of hosts; consider your ways. Go up to the hill and bring wood and rebuild the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the Lord." This was a strong and powerful confirmation, not only that we had found His place, but also why the church, the body of Christ, is in the condition it is in today. Verse 9 states, "My house is waste because ye run every man to his own house.” Everybody looks after themselves, does their own thing, has their own plans and just adds Jesus to it. God wants to add us to His plan that we might look after one another.
Based upon this word that God had given us we knew that we were in his will, but there was still one problem, the matter of money! We were a small group and had been meeting together for only about a year. With all of us saving our offerings we only had approximately $4,000.00, which was far short of what we needed for even a down payment. But God had given us peace and confi­dence. We knew that if God had spoken. He was also able to provide for the needs. So as quickly as possible we called the fellowship together again to spend the day in prayer and fasting. That same day as we were praying one of the wealthiest business men in town called and asked if Peter would be willing to meet with him. He had heard about people whose lives had been changed and some that had been delivered from drugs. He wanted to know more about us and what our plans were. Peter told him about the farm and our vision. Then he asked "How much money do you need?" Peter said "about $15.000.00 for the down payment," He asked "how much do you have?" "About $4,000.00" was the reply. He said "I'll give you the other $11,000.00”. We hadn't even asked him. The Lord is truly able to provide, and will work miracles to accomplish his will.Back in Haggai chapter 1, verses 13 & 14 say: "I am with you, saith the Lord. And the Lord stirred up the spirit of the remnant of the people, and they came and did work in the house of the Lord of hosts, their God."

That is exactly what happened. We all put our abilities and skills together to restore the house.
So the Farm was restored and new life brought to the place. Just as we have been restored and given new life.

The church is being progressively rebuilt as the truth is renewed in our midst and the end of the age draws near. The light has been growing brighter and brighter "until the day dawns, and the day star arises in our hearts”. God is preparing a glorious bride without spot or blemish. It shall be brought to a full restoration and fulfill Haggai 2:9:
"The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, (early church as seen in the Book of Acts) and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts."

Development

The fellowship had then undergone a great deal of development and had grown to several hundred in number. It eventually covered over 400 acres of farm land in Virginia and North Carolina, portions of which we used to form subdivisions where many of the families built homes with the help of each other and our own construction com­panies that grew as a result. There were also many families that settled in a small and historic old town near by; located right in the midst of our surrounding farms. It served for business and trade needs.
Among the facilities that the Lord had provided were:
Men’s dormitories, a women's dormitory, a greenhouse, a large new meeting house, a swimming pool for community use, baptisms and children's summer camps. We were also able to purchase an old school building.
The school building had 14 classrooms and a gymnasium. We had intended to develop this school so that our children could receive an education based in the truth and centered in Christ.
We planted apple and peach orchards and were beginning to farm the land as we learned to organically cultivate, raise livestock and keep bees.
A community food distribution center was developed in a store front nearby. Through the center, we both bought and produced food, goods, and other necessities in large quantities to both save people money and minister to those in need. James says that if we don't minister to those things needful to the body (food, clothing, and shelter), our faith is dead. (James 2:16).
Another way we had been able to help each other was through the establishing of a Help Fund. As members contributed to this fund, we had taken care of many hospital bills, paid for the birth of many babies (by which we had been blessed), and provided for several other financial emergencies. We also trained nurse mid-wives and were looking to set up our own basic health care facilities.
Within the community some of our own businesses were providing jobs to help meet our needs. Members were also delighted to give aid in whatever service was needed; A construction company had grown from a few of the brothers who learned their skills from
the restoration of the farm house. Now there are branches extending from carpentry into plumbing, electrical work, masonry, painting wallpapering, and cabinet and furniture making. Some of the people were involved in crafts such as quilting, painting, weaving and pottery. Plans were underway to form a craft store to market these items.
As we come together we can see the provision of God taking shape in many different forms. We were hoping to develop resources and abilities that could set us free from the control of the antichrist world system. What would happen if the oil supplies are turned off? Are we the church to be addicted to and dependent on those things for survival? There is no power shortage in God.
We are always experimenting with new ideas and concepts of doing things (such as alternate power sources — wind, solar, wood, water etc.) to enhance the manifestation of the Kingdom and supply our needs.

Purpose
Historically, whenever a people strayed from God and His righteousness, judgment was just around the corner. Just because they were God's chosen people did not exempt them. In fact, judgment came upon them quicker as the scripture says, "Judgment must first begin at the house of God." (1 Peter 4 :1) This is not to neglect God's mercy for "his mercy endures forever" to the repentant heart, but the judgments of the Lord are correction to the believer and destruction to the stiff-necked and proud. (Micah 4:1 and Romans 5:3). God desires to raise up a standard in the church by which He can judge the heathen, but in general, the church has accepted the standards and values of the world. We have become dependent on the world, and they tell us how to live. Jesus said the church is to be in the world; not the world in the church. We are to
be light and salt to the world. Many “Christians” follow the Lord for selfish reasons, wanting only to hear about all the blessings that they will receive, never wanting to know what the will of God is for their lives. They are taught to "give and it shall be given unto you" (Luke 6:38). To motivate people to give in order to get was not what was intended by the Lord. Anyone who does not speak as though God only wants to cater to everyone’s desires becomes unpopular and a voice that much of Christianity wants to put away. This was also the attitude of the children of Israel to the prophets Jeremiah and Isaiah. Nevertheless, their words were true no matte how unpopular, It is time for the voice of the prophet to be heard again in the church.
Let us beware of the attitude "God will supply" when what we mean is our way.
The Children of Israel felt the same way as they did their own thing and said, "We have the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord." (Jeremiah 7:34,4), like the hypocrisy of the “God Bless America” crowd. He warned them not to believe those lying words. We see today many well meaning Christians, politicians and business men, trying to preserve the status quo and bring our constitution back to our founding fathers. They forget that we are not called as Christians to just help society get better, but to be representatives of another kingdom. Our founding fathers are not Franklin, Jefferson, and Washington, but the apostles and prophets. Other foundations can no man lay, and our constitution is the word of God. When Jesus came the first time, this was the attitude of many religious people: "Lord will thou at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" They think "Oh if we only can get some nice Christians in government and in business". They are the same way now. The Lord did not come to restore some earthly kingdom, but to set up His kingdom. Hallelujah! No one likes change, but change must come. It would be better to look at some of the things we should be doing instead of hoping that it all blows over. If we are not seeking first the kingdom of God, and are only slightly involved in the Christian community, it will be easy to get assimilated into the culture of the world and receive their values and philosophies. The early Christians knew this and therefore lived as a society apart from the mainstream of the world culture. We are not talking about withdrawing from the world, but being separate. This gives us a much better opportunity to live the gospel and show forth an alternative life style to the world. This does not diminish our evangelical outreach and ministry. On the contrary, the gospel is more powerful in demonstration rather than in word only. In addition, we become as a prophetic statement to the world.
Psalm 133 says, "Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity," and we have found that this is so. The two greatest commandments in which all others are fulfilled, are to love the Lord with all our heart, and to love one another as He loved us. We hope, by both what we teach and by the way we live, to give the world a glimpse of the Kingdom of God. In this environment we can better minister to the needs of the total man spiritually, emotionally, physically, and socially. The Bible can be taught not just as information, but as a way of life. We exist because there is a need.
As God establishes a firm foundation, "for the church is the pillar and ground of the truth," (1 Timothy 3:15), we can "go out into all nations and make disciples, teaching them to observe all things that He has commanded." (Matthew 28:19 & 20). For He taught us to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom, not just some watered down version of salvation, to be filled with the spirit with signs and wonders following.
Basis and Belief
We believe in the saving power of the Lord Jesus Christ and that we have redemption through His blood.
We believe, as did our early church fathers, in the doctrines outlined in the Apostles Creed.
"/ believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His
only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, seated at the right hand of God, the Father, Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Universal Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting." Amen!
Jesus the God-Man lived, died, and rose again, and we have eternal life through His name. He sent His Holy Spirit to empower us and guide us into all truth. (Acts 2).
We believe in the absolute authority of the Bible as God's word which is a lamp unto our path and food for our Spirit.
When we receive Jesus as our Savior, we are born into another Kingdom which is not of this world. "Delivered from the power of darkness, and translated into the kingdom of his dear Son," (Col. 1:13), the church is therefore called as a body of believers to represent this Kingdom; dedicated to obey and follow the Lord Jesus Christ, reaching out, sharing our lives in self-sacrificing love. We are a peculiar people, a holy nation (1 Peter 2:9) that God has called forth, through whom He will build His Kingdom. Our boundaries are not set by Geographic’s but by faith. "The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy, in the Holy Ghost." (Romans 14:17). The Bible com­mands us to walk in the Spirit as ambassa­dors of His Kingdom. Hebrews 11:3 instructs us that all that is seen (the material world) came forth from the invisible (the spiritual world). Therefore, if we become truly spiritual, it will change the material world. His Kingdom that now exists in Spirit is corning forth from within the heart of His people, (Luke 17:20 & 21), to be manifested in the earth. "Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10).


At this point, it might be important to briefly discuss some differences in beliefs concerning the "end times" and the "rapture" in the light of the Bible. This is not just for the sake of argument so that we ma have this theological position or that, but it has a vital bearing on the direction that the body of Christ should take. We believe that the scriptures teach that as the end of the age draws near there is coming a time of great tribulation upon the earth. It is coming as "travail upon a woman with child", (I Thessalonians 5:3). The pains start out mild and far apart, but they get closer and closer together and become more and more intense. Paul says that we are children of the day and not of the night so there is no reason why this should come upon us by surprise. The reason that this will come as a surprise to the world is because they do not look at the signs of the times, They turn away from the hand writing on the wall and assume that man (who is his own god) can work out all of his problems. This is reminiscent of the days of Noah. People were carrying on eating and drinking and making merry as though nothing were wrong. (Matthew 24:38). When we look around us at the corruption in government, the economic situation, the social injustice, the moral condition, the world scene, and the prevailing philosophy, they all tell us that something catastrophic is about to happen. The idea that we will be raptured out of any trouble is not consistent with the Bible, The purpose of tribulation is to destroy the tares (wicked) and perfect the wheat by burning off the chaff. In Matthew 13:30 concerning the parable of the wheat and the tares, it is important to note that it is the tares that are taken first and bound in bundles to burn. In verse 41, it says that "the Son of man shall send forth his angels and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend and them which do iniquity." Also, in Matthew 24:37, He says "As the days of Noah were so shall the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field: the one shall be taken and the other left." In the days of Noah, it was the wicked that were taken. Again in 1Corinthians 15:51 & 52 it says we shall be changed at the last trump which is the same trump of 1 Thessalonians 4:16, for it is when the dead in Christ shall be raised. Now if we look in Revelation chapters 8 through 11, we see that there are seven trumpets. The first six are tribulation and the seventh says "the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ and He shall reign forever and ever." This aligns very well with what Paul was talk­ing of in the "Last trump". Ephesians 5:27 tells us that He is coming for a glorious church not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, and Acts 3:21 declares that the heavens must withhold Him until the times of the restitution of all things, (see Proverbs 10:30),
We believe that God is gathering His people for the time of His return is near. God has called us as His bride: a body of people, not a multitude of individuals, but a corporate expression of Him. Individually we cannot stand, for His Glory would destroy us, but there is one place in the scriptures where he gives us His Glory, John 17:22. "The Glory which Thou gaveist me I have given them: that they may be one, even as we are one,"

Direction and Future
We believe the Lord has directed us to become less and less dependent on the industrial world, which has brought so many into bondage, and become more and more self-sufficient. We believe that the world is on the threshold of a great shaking and much tribulation, Revelation 18:4 instructs us to “come out of her that we be not a partaker of her sins and receive not of her plagues."
God is preparing us for the years ahead and we, as well as a growing network of other communities throughout the world, can be a place of refuge and provision, a kind of ark, for the rest of the Body of Christ.
We hope to grow in His spirit and walk daily — a step at a time — spreading God's word to the ends of the earth "in deed and in truth," to a lost and dying world. "Till all the earth is filled with the glory of the Lord", Amen!!!

The Real Mark of the Beast

The Kingdoms of this World

What is this “Mark of the Beast”? I believe a spirit that is pervasive in the people rises up a man to accomplish its will. We have discussed the idea, and suspected that George W. Bush may very well be the “son of perdition” the Antichrist. The hardest thing to believe about it is; “Can this really be happening?” We all like to think “Some time in the future, but not in my lifetime.” Or another land or religion, but the Bible says “They went out from us, but they were not of us.” The truth is He is here now. The time is right the place is right and George W. Bush’s spirit is certainly a match. Prince of lies, Ruler of this world, Lusting for Money and Power, Ruthless, Torturing, Killing, Cheating, Deceiving and being Deceived. 2Tim. 3: 1: “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. (notice he is telling the church that perilous times shall come, because they need to know this. If we were going to be raptured out before, why would Paul be warning us about them?) 2: For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3: Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4: Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;”. It is important to understand though that The Antichrist is not just a man, but the entire system of men that is contrary to the Kingdom of God. We are raised in a society that looks up to and idolizes the rich and famous. If you don’t think so, just watch people gush over celebrities, as though they were someone to be admired. It is as though we think that “gain is godliness” but in fact the Bible says that these are “men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth .. from such withdraw thyself.” Oh but we are supposed to be successful, and climb the corporate ladder. We want a “comfortable” life, so we fall into this lie and trap. “But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.” 1Tim. 6:5-9. What does this mean, and how does it affect us? How should true believers be living now and what should we be doing now? This whole system is corrupt when we will pay a basket ball player 100 million dollars to put a ball in a hoop but won't take care of health care or the poor. Do we think that democracy and capitalism is the Kingdom of God? Or is it of the spirit of Antichrist? We are living in the revival of the Roman empire. (as is explained in my post “Revival of the Roman Empire”).

I hear a lot of discussion and fear about implants that are now available and may become pervasive. These are devices that have some kind of chip that will recognize you and give you a clearance based on your identity. People are talking about them being placed in their foreheads and hands and are worried about these devises being the “Mark of the Beast”. Surely you realize that the Devil is more subtle than that. Look at the shiny keys! Distract form the true Mark. I would tell you that there are many of the “Fundamentalists” that know these verses in scripture that are worried about taking this device and would never allow it and have the Mark clearly implanted deep. On the other hand, if I in doing battle for Christ were put in prison, and drugged, then with out my knowledge or permission had been implanted with a chip, do you think I would be counted as belonging to the Beast? Let me say that I do not believe that these things in them selves are the “ Mark of the Beast”, any more than a cell phone is.

To some degree most of societies already has been wearing this mark. Prov:27:23: “Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds. 24: For riches are not for ever: and doth the crown endure to every generation?” The scripture is telling us to not be too caught up in the kingdoms of this world, but keep your eye on those things that are important for your basic needs. How many today would be able to grow there own food if their life depended on it? Things were much different just a 100 years ago. Mt:6:26: “Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27: Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28: And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30: Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31: Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32: (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34: Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” In the cities like New York you see all the lonely people deceiving themselves, trying to make themselves happy with buying the latest designer do-dad. They think their money can buy their happiness, and that this is the way things have always been and things will always be this way. 2Pt:3:3: “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4: And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”

As many of you may know the Greek and Hebrew used their alphabet for numbers, and numbers have meaning. This is why in Revelation we see a number that has a meaning. The Bible gives us the keys to understanding the meanings by the way they are used. There are several books available on the subject. I will give you a few that are relevant here. The number 3 is the number for divinity (trinity) and 8 the number of new beginnings, resurrection and life. Jesus rose on the 8th day of the week, or the first day of the new week. This signified a new beginning a new day. That is why the early church met on the 8th day, it was a breaking from the Old Testament Sabbath. To the Christian our rest is in the Lord, it doesn’t matter what day it is. The name Jesus in Greek, Iησους (iota=10, eta=8, sigma=200, omikron=70, upsilon=400, sigma=200 ) adds up to 888. This name and its numerical value speak very well for him; Divine Resurrection and Life. 6 is the number of man (God created man on the sixth day). So with antichrist we have 3 sixes. He has 3 because he will “be as God” Gen:3:5. Christ was God making himself man = 888, Antichrist is Man making himself God = 666. That is the essence of the spirit of Antichrist. In the Garden this was the lie the devil told them. “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” Ever since, man has thought he was his own god, deciding for him self, what is good and what is evil. This is the whole idea of relativism. We all have our own truth. You have heard some say, “well that may be true for you”. Truth is true even if you don’t believe it. If you are standing in front of a train and you don’t believe it is coming does that mean it won’t hit you? It is not just a question of believing something that makes it true, even if you have no doubt. If someone had stolen your engine out of your car, and you went out to start it fully believing it would start, it still would not, because there was no engine, and you would have believed a lie. If you don’t believe the devil exists, that does not mean he doesn’t. Truth is discovered as we seek, and it is personified in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ. “I am the truth”.If man is the problem, man is not the answer, yet he continues to worship the works of his own hands.

Right in the heart of NYC, on Fifth Ave, the only building that had it's numbers displayed on it and lighted up in RED at the top of the building, was 666 Fifth Ave. ( pictured above) Red is the color of man, the name Adam means Red Blood. After 9/11, and the Bush administration was in control, the name was changed to “Citi” the banking giant, representing the money power and god Mammon. 1Tm:6:10: “For the love of money is the root of ALL evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” Now that the Beast is being manifested, the sign 666 could come down ( it was as though it was fore telling his coming). Yeah, tell me this is all just coincidence.

NYC represents the height of man making himself god and the worship of the works of his hands. Rv:13:16: “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:” BE NOT DECEIVED!! The mark in your forehead and in your hand speaks of who you serve with your mind-forehead and body-hand, or mentally and physically. 17:” And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name”. Notice it says ALL!!! including the small, poor and the free. That would seem to include the saints. None of us today are able to feed our families or take care of our needs without serving this antichrist beast system to some degree. We can not buy or sell without being on this grid, and a part of the system. The difference is, those that belong to the beast, believe in this system. Those that belong to God hunger and thirst for Gods kingdom. Those that are of the beast are the ME first people, seeking to get more money and power. Those that belong to the Lord seek first the Kingdom of God. They help others and minister unto the Lord. They Mt:6:20: “lay up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Remember God resists the proud. We are in the world, but not of it. Your job or career is not your provider, the Lord is. The great Whore Babylon false religion and the religious right give power and justification to this Beast. The just shall live by faith.

MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Rev:17: 1: And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3: So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4: And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6: And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
7: And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carried her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
8: The beast that thou saw was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
When we read the Book of Revelation we must understand how and from what perspective it was written. We have all seen books like “Revelation made easy”. Unfortunately that is what the Christian establishment would have you think. This book was not meant for everyone to understand. Yes I know it promises a blessing to who ever shall read it, Rev.1:3; but they neglect to point out that it also says to those that keep it. This book is written in a way so as to be sealed to the spiritually blind, or immature. It contains great mysteries and power. If this power got into the hands of the wrong people, it would be like putting an atom bomb in the hands of a two year old. Heb: 5:14: “But strong meat belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”
The idea that true spiritual truth is hidden to some may not be popular, but there is much scriptural basis for this. Lk: 8:10: “And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.” We also see that timing may be a factor in understanding Gods message to us. Dan: 12:4: “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” (Like now). Paul in 1st Corinthians 12:2 says he was caught up into the third heaven and vs. 4: “How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.” He never left the earth, but had entered the spirit. Spiritual things can not always be translated “word for word”.
When John wrote the Apocalypse, he said Rev: 1:10: “I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,” If he wrote it from the stand point of being in the spirit, does it not make sense to endeavor to understand it form the spirit?
We have heard it said that we have a left side of our brain and a right side (I am not sure which is which) One is more systematic and follows a flow of information, It is structured and ordered. It is where the math is done; sees the “real world” and has to put things into categories, and relates to the material universe, it is the Law. The other side sees images and patterns. It is creative, and sees things in pictures, and cycles. This is the side that sees into the spirit. This is the side that the book of Revelation appeals to. This explains why there seems to be many fulfillments to the verses contained in it. God is creating imagery so you can spot his hand and fulfillment.
Obviously much of its literal fulfillment has taken place with Rome, and Nero; But we see the same patterns like waves continue across the sands of time. Cycles that build until one final culmination. “Like travail upon women with child”
With this in mind, let us look back over history. How long has Satan had his grip and been in control of this world? It has been right since the beginning in the garden. How quickly people forget. God made this whole creation for man, and man gave it over to Satan. As a result all of creation is corruptible, running down and dying (The second law of thermo-dynamics). From that moment on God has been moving us toward His final plan, His Seventh Day, to bring us into His rest. As we look at the cycles and waves, they are not all exactly alike, but we see many of the same pictures. This explains why many believers and the early church would get it wrong as to the end, and the Antichrist. Through out History there have been many Antichrists. 1Jn:2:18: “Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.” We can start out with Pharaoh, the Babylonians, and Alexander the Great. Antiochus Epiphanies was the culmination in the Old Testament times. He offered a blood sacrifice of a pig in the Holy of Holies. He was prophesied of in Daniel. Then in New Testament times we have the first appearance in Judas; Most of the Caesars, especially those that fought against Christ, like Nero. Then here in this century many thought Adolph Hitler, was the Antichrist. Although he fulfilled much of what was needed to qualify he was apparently not yet the One. Now we are looking at the most chilling possibility in the person of George W. Busche. If we turn out to be incorrect again, the cycle will swing around again with more and more evil till “That Man of sin be revealed, The Son of Perdition”.
I have given a broad look at history because I want us to see the whole picture. Who and what is “This Great Whore”? She is an image of one ridding on the back of a beast. This beast is full of names of blasphemy or false gods. She is arrayed in wealth with Gold (significant of divine nature) and pearls (from the sea) and precious stones (from the dry land), full of the splendor of this world. We see an image of Grandeur. Like Christ her colors are Red (the color for man, blood) and Purple the color of royalty. Blue by the way is the color for God; it is the color of the heavens. Purple is the combination of blue and red. Christ was the combination of God = blue and Man= red giving us purple; The God Man and Royal King of Kings. It says she is sitting upon many waters. In verse 15, it tells us what those waters are. “The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.” It is all the people of the world that have and are being oppressed by her ridding on their back. The kings of the earth have committed fornication with her. All the kingdoms of the world and nations and empires have been in bed with their religious systems. They use each other to control the masses. By false promises like the American dream, the deceitfulness of riches and all the other lies that have been told us through the ages they have made the people drunk with her wine. Mk: 4:19: And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
Rev.17: 2. “the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”
Again it is important to have this broad look at history because this image does. This beast has seven heads. Verse 9; “The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. 10: And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. 11: And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. Mountains are significant of Kingdoms; the kings mentioned are the representatives of those Kingdoms. The five that had fallen were: 1.Egypt, 2.Assyria, 3.Babylon, 4.Medo-Persia, and 5.Greece. “One is” 6. Rome. And the other had “not yet come” – The American Empire. This nation may have started out benign but it is now going into perdition. It has only been around a short space. Then we see the beast that was and is not being the eighth. God says “I am that I am” Satan says “I am that I am not” This eighth is the Antichrist system that fills the whole earth. It is of the seven because it grew out of them, headed by the same kinds of Antichrists.
This past summer I had the privilege of taking a trip to some of the great cities of Europe. We went to London and saw the Palace of the Queen with all its might. How ironic that right in front in the park was a poor young homeless man. Then we went on to Paris; More amazing and dazzling splendor. The Louvre and Versailles full of their treasures and mixture of Christian and Pagan occult symbolism. Next stop; Rome, The Empire and the Coliseum. The Vatican with the most incredible splendor of all. You go inside and the glint of gold is everywhere. Wealth and riches beyond your wildest dreams. And as I was awe struck the Word of the Lord came to me Rev.17:6: “And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. 7: And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel?” So remarkable where the wonders of this Great Whore, that even John marveled. When the kings of France so abused the people, they rose up and cut off their heads. These blind guides in the Vatican hide behind God.
All this wealth and power and massive edifices are all designed to intimidate and control people and blind them from the truth; to make the masses drunk with the wine of her delicacies. Every where we saw Church after Church, Dome with Obelisk; Symbols of pagan deity worship. You see the same picture right in Washington DC on the Mall, Congress on one end and the Washington Monument at the other end. This is no coincidence. When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness by the devil, Lk: 4:5: “And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, showed unto him ALL the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time (including today’s). 6: And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. 7: If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine”. Jesus didn’t disagree that it was Satan’s to give, but he knew Mt: 16:26: “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” So his answer was Lk: 4:8: “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” This is all about building the Kingdoms of this world on the backs of the poor. It is about the worship of Mammon the God of this age at the cost of the blood sweat and tears of those that are simple.
Think about all the atrocities that have been committed through the ages in the name of Religion and Political Ideologies; All proclaiming a just and true cause; Everything from the Crusades and the Inquisitions to the fight for Democracy or Communism. Think of the suffering, starvation and despair of the dark ages. These all made richer the money changers while the saints bleed in the streets. They kept back the word of God and taught that only the Priests were able to talk to God; Thus developing a kind of Illuminati or Illuminated class. They had a MYSTERY. The common people were kept in their place by the use of guilt, keeping them bound up worrying about their sexual desires; while they were committing every kind of sexual atrocities imaginable. Several Popes were known to have kept young boys and would simply burry them when they were through with them. Mt: 23:27: “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.” They are still indulging themselves in the fat and luxuries of this world. When the new Nazi Pope was negotiated into power by George Bush, (Kings fornicating with the Whore) I would watch the Cardinals getting out of their big limos dressed in Scarlet and Purple and gold and precious stones. Then a servant would run up with an umbrella to protect His tenderness from the terrible rays of the SON. I thought to my self, “Who does she think she is? Michael Jackson?”
At the time Jesus came, the Jewish hierarchy were living well and mixing there business practices with there religion. When they unearthed the home of Caiaphas the high priest, it was clear that he was a rich man. The reason the Jews rejected Christ the first time was because he didn’t come to do their bidding. (as a note, it was not the common Jews that rejected Him, most of the early church were Jews. It was the Jewish establishment.) They wanted Him to “Restore the Kingdom to Israel” or return to the status quoi and there ruling order. They didn’t really care what He was preaching or doing, as far as they were concerned He was just a nuisance. But when He messed with their money and overturned the money changers tables, they were threatened. This is when they wanted Him killed. So who is this Great Whore of Babylon? Remember in another post I said all the religions of the world seem to have their roots in Babylon. This is why she is the Mother of Harlots. She is ALL of the organized religions of this world. She is Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, The Roman Catholic church, The right wing fundamentalist, and Denominationalism; She is the cults and Isms; She is the Secret societies and Black Arts; She is the Idols and Demon Gods from ancient times that keep coming back riding on the back of the worlds political systems. The two give power to each other. They are in bed together committing fornication. They are not flesh and blood but powers and principalities the rulers of the darkness of this world; they are spiritual wickedness in high places. Eph:6:12
We now see the whole earth subdued by her and consuming the world recourses. The blind masses worshiping at the alter of consumerism putting themselves further and further into enslavement; being bound to the love of this world Lusting for Oil to drive her machines. Rv:9:2: “And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.”(air pollution)
I know that some will think me a crazy person after reading this. But: 2Tm:1:7: “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
1Cor:2:14: “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” We have come to think it is normal and the way it should be for our families to be scattered all over the place “without natural affection” to serve this Industrial Military Complex. Rv: 6:10: “And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?” Rv: 18:4: And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” 1Pt:2:9: “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:”

Who is Jesus?

When we discuss The Lord Jesus Christ, with the unbeliever or the follower of eastern religions, and some modern day religious systems; we may get back a response like “Jesus is A way” to God, not THE way. This is a put down to Christ veiled as an expression of reverence. Any statement like He was a holy prophet or a great man is in reality making Him less than what and who He is. Some would say that God is an impersonal force. They would claim that to say that God could be anthropomorphic (man like) is to limit Him. That He or “it” is beyond all of that. What they fail to see is that they are the ones that are limiting God. Does it not make sense that our source or creator would be greater than us or the creation? If I have intelligence and a personality, wouldn’t it be logical to believe that my source would also have that capability as well? If so what would it be like?
With this in mind let us have a look at who this humble carpenter from Nazareth really is and who the Bible claims Him to be. John: 1:1: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” The word used here for WORD is the Greek word LOGOS it is where we get our word logic. It is describing the very intent and/or expression of God. Vs. 3: “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” God spoke all things into existence. He said “Let there be” and there was. Vs. 14: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,” The word used here for dwelt is the Greek word SKENOO, it means to tent or tabernacle among us. The picture is as though God the Eternal had put on a garment or a tent over His spirit, so we could see Him. vs.18: No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. Jn: 4:24 “God is a Spirit” It is Jesus who reveals Him to us. Hebrews 1: 1: “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2: Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3: Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;”
Some cults that claim to believe in the Bible say He is the Son of God and Jehovah is God. I will endeavor to show that they are one and the same. Any time we see a manifestation of God what we see is the Son, because the Son is the expression or manifestation of the Father. And we see or experience Him by agency of the Holy Spirit. Thus we see the Triune God. Think of it in this way. All of creation is given to understanding spiritual truth. I have said in a previous post, that the Sun in the sky is a type of Jesus. He is the light of the world, the life giving force to everything on this planet. It sets and rises again. We are children of the day. The invisible driving force or Power behind that ball of fire is the father. When we look upon it, we see the manifestation of power, or the Son; and we are able to see it and feel it because of its rays, or the Holy Spirit. One but three.
When Moses went up into the mountain and saw the burning bush, what he saw was the Son Jesus. The bush said that His name was “I Am” Jn: 8:58: “Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I Am. 59: Then took they up stones to cast at him:” The reason they wanted to stone him was because they knew what He meant when he said that. He was equating himself to being one and the same. As an interesting side note, the name I AM was an ever present tense. It actually meant I am Who I am, When I am, Where I am, Why I am, What I am and How I am. Every question you can ask, He is the answer. Also all those questions are actually derived from the name for God. They all contain the YHWH.
Jesus was unique of all men, in that He did not have an earthly father. His father was God. This was in fulfillment to the scripture. Isa: 7:14: “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Which being interpreted is, God with us.” Mt: 1:23. The blood flowing through his veins was eternal blood from His father (Lev: 17:11: For the life of the flesh is in the blood). So when His blood was shed it was shed once for all mankind for ever. All the sacrifices of the perfect lambs without spot or blemish before were only a foreshadowing of the true sacrifice that was to come in Christ. With His death He paid the price for our sins, and opened up the Gates of Heaven. Now anyone can come “Boldly to the throne of grace” Heb. 4:16. With His resurrection He conquered death. 1Cor:15:21: “For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22: For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23: But every man in his own order: Christ the first fruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 24: Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25: For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26: The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
Jesus has been with us from the beginning of creation. In Exodus there is a wonderful prophetic picture. In chapter 17 vs. 3 we see the people were thirsty for water as we thirst for living water, and truth. 5: “And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go. 6: Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel”. Then in Numbers 20 vs. 7- 12 When the people needed water again God has instructed Moses to SPEAK to the rock and the water would flow; but Moses had lost his temper and was angry with the people, and he smote the rock again twice, instead of talking to the rock. Jesus was that Rock that followed the children of Israel through the wilderness. 1Cor:10:4: “And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.” What an incredible picture. Jesus only needed to be smitten once for all, and that was accomplished at the cross. Since then when we need the living water we don’t need to crucify Christ afresh or offer another sacrifice, we need but to ask. Talk to the Rock. It was because of this that Moses broke the type and was not able to enter the Promise Land. Jesus was smitten once for all mankind forever.
The name Jehovah or Yahweh does not really exist. It is derived from the Hebrew Tetragrammaton, YHWH. When we see the word Lord used in the Old Testament it is in replacement of that symbol. In reading from the scripture the Priests used the word Adonai (my Lord) because the name was unpronounceable. It was believed that God was present in His name so if you could say the name of god the very earth would burn at the sound of it.
In the book of the prophet Zechariah we see this interesting verse. They Lord Jehovah is speaking. Zech:12:10: “And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.” I would ask you, when did we ever pierce Jehovah? It was Jesus whom we pierced, Jehovah the Savior. Another incredible prophecy is seen in Isaiah. Isa:52:5: “Now therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD (Jehovah), that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith the LORD; and my name continually every day is blasphemed.” Here we see the Lord saying that his people are oppressed like the children of Israel that were in slavery in Egypt. We have been carried away for a lie and false values and as a result we are howling with oppression. Then you hear people blaspheming the name of the Lord. In anger they shout “Jesus Christ”. You don’t here them saying Oh Jehovah.
I was in a discussion with a sincere Islamic man who would tell me he would pray to God Allah. The name Allah is the same as Elohim. EL Al .He said he did not pray to Jesus, he prayed to God. I said that if who he is praying to is God than he is praying to Jesus. They are the same. There is no other way to get to God because He is God, not A God but the one and only. Most Hebrew names end in either the EL sound from Elohim like Michael, (meaning, He who is like God), or IAH like Isaiah (Salvation of Jehovah).
The Jehovah’s Witnesses claim that our bibles have been corrupted. Or that the King James was changed. They point to this verse. 1Jn:5:7: “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” Here we have a clear depiction of the trinity, but unfortunately they are correct. That verse, although is sound doctrine, was probably added, and not in the original texts. We don’t really need it to be there to show the soundness of the Trinity. As said before, there is oneness and threeness in the entire creation. We have many other modern translations to compare in our studies. There are so many copies of ancient manuscripts both Old Testament and New, that it is almost embarrassing. Then they would argue that Jesus was A mighty god not the Almighty God. Let us compare two verses. Ps:50:1: The mighty God, even the LORD (Jehovah), hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. Isa:9:6: For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Here we clearly see that the Father and the Son are the same.
Who is this Lord Jesus? He is the loving Father, that truly knows us, not only because of His infinite knowledge, but He knows us from experience. He became a man. He showed us not only what God was like, but what God intended man to be like. Rom:5:8: But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. He is the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Rv:13:8.- Ps:24:8: He is the King of glory, The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
When you see Jesus, you fall in love and you want to follow because you have met the Master. Rv:5: 11: And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; 12: Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. 13: And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

Wound to the Head

The Little Horn

In learning about the Antichrist, one of the great questions we seek an answer to concerns what the scripture is talking about when we read in Revelation that the beast receives a mortal wound to one of its heads. Rev: 13: 3: "And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast." As far as the wound to the head, some have suggested that perhaps it means that Bush’s popularity has dropped and even his staunchest supporters seem to have turned against him. Does this mean “Bush is dead politically and then "miraculously" he will rebound and grab more power and influence than he had before?” (NathanDave) We don't know as yet. It could also be a real mortal wound (although I doubt that). Someone, in one of the comments either here or on Hanchett’s blog, (can't remember where) made the comment about “W” being the resurrected Bush after his father received a "Mortal wound" by loosing the election to Bill Clinton. That was obviously not in their plans. They did everything in their power to destroy Clinton, spending over $50 million of our money to search out his sex life. This is also very possibly an application. After all it also says in Vs.14 that the wound was received by a sword. The “Sword” speaks of the word or a word and the breath of God. Eph: 6:17: “And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:” Heb: 4:12: “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” 2Thes:2:8: “And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:” Rv: 2:16: “Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.” Most political observers would say that if you were to point to any one thing that caused George H.W. to loose you would have to say it was his own WORDS. “Read my lips, No new taxes” Could this be the sword that struck him to the head? I would like to tell you all a brief story. My mother, who was 93 when she died a few years ago, was seemingly a bit senile in the last several years of her life. She at times would think she saw things, and would have knowledge of things that were strange. I just thought she was a bit crazy. From the very beginning of Bill Clintons Presidency, every time something bad would happen she would say “That’s that George Bush, He's behind this" and I would tell her she was wrong, I would tell her that Bush had lost and he was back in Texas. He had no power anymore and he could not be behind these things. I just thought these were the grumblings of an old lady that had no idea what she was talking about. But she would insist, always saying " Oh no, you watch He's behind it" I would argue with her a bit, and insist that she was wrong. She would continue to insist that she knew, and would say “You watch, He's behind it, He'll come back, He'll come back, and the stock market will crash and we will go to war, you watch!!" Now if your hair isn't standing on end yet, let me say this everything happened just like she said. In Biblical references, many times the father and the son are considered the same person. They are certainly the same spirit. My mother wasn't a particularly godly woman, but I believe that when you are in a state where your sense of reality is altered and somewhat delusional, you can be more open to seeing into the spirit. It may not always be from God, but can in fact be truth. The devils would speak the truth when the Lord came into their presence declaring him as the "Christ". The devil also likes to give people truths to get you to trust him and then slip you a lie. I say this because what my mother had seen did come to pass. Most defiantly a spirit had shown her this, but I am not sure it was the Spirit of God. My point is I believe God may have been telling me something through my mother. Did this mean the G.W. Bush is the father restored to power? I don't know for sure, but my feeling is that he is. The important thing is the "Fruit" we can watch this and know that if not THE antichrist, certainly AN antichrist. The cycles and patterns are always the same. On the other hand both or all applications could also happen. If you remember how the father was so high in popularity you would have thought, how could anyone ever beat him? GW was the same, having gone from the highest approval ratings of any president to the lowest. Much of these discussions I believe are healthy and important speculation in pursuit of the truth. Now we have been beating the drum about Iran. We are going into Iran. People think NO WAY, but what would happen if an atomic bomb went off in this country, or on a military base here or elsewhere in the world? Then they say "See the Iranians did it and this proves they have nuclear capabilities" He would sky rocket back up in the polls and people would take to the streets shouting “Lets go nuke em” I hope I am wrong.
I would also like to comment on the discussion of the Illuminati. It is true that plots and plans have been laid by these secret societies for a very long time and certainly they have achieved much of their plans so far, but I want to remind my readers, that none of these men are smart enough or wise enough to figure out all the courses and possibilities that could happen. It may give us some insight to know what they are up to, but remember this is a spiritual thing. Eph: 6:12: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
All their plotting and planning is only setting their own trap. They are being used to ultimately accomplish the will of God Ps: 9:16: “The LORD is known by the judgment which he executes: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.” Prov: 12:13: “The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.” God’s will shall be done, even by the deceivers. Jesus prayed it, “Thy Will be done” and it will be answered.

Nero = Bush

Hail to the Chief

Most scholars would agree that Nero was indeed one of the clearest types of Antichrist we have in history, and then also Adolph Hitler. It is widely accepted that Nero was who John was writing about directly in the book of Revelation. Antichrists set several patterns that occur over and over.
This leads me to make a few observations. Nero “Fiddled” while Rome burned. George W. “Fiddled” while New Orleans flooded. http://politicalhumor.about.com/library/images/blbushpetgoat2.htm Fire and Water. I am well aware that Nero didn’t actually fiddle; Emperor Nero Claudius Caesar couldn't have fiddled while Rome burned in A.D. 64 because the violin wasn't invented until the 1500s. What Nero really did while Rome burned most believe is sing. The emperor, who had artistic ambitions, was apparently performing an old Greek scene for his friends. The first reference to Nero's fiddling appeared in the mid-1600s. The word "fiddle" seems to have been used to mean "engaging in frivolous activity," not "playing a violin." When he was done singing, Nero blamed the fire on the Christians and began the first Roman persecution. The beginning of the “Blame Game?” Others, pointing to Nero's desire to rebuild Rome on a grand scale, note that the fire was a very convenient way for him to carry out his plans and suggest that he may have caused the fire himself.
The similarities are striking. Although it was widely believed that Nero started the fire this was never actually proven to be the case. The same situation is now arisen again. News stories seem to be surfacing that claim that the levies where deliberately blown to flood the city. http://www.aztlan.net/new_orleans_land_grab.htm . Weather either is true we may never know this side of eternity, but what we do know for a fact is that both profited by it. Nero later had the city rebuilt. But what got him a lot of criticism was that when he had the city rebuilt he had himself a HUGE palace built. So, although he may not have burned Rome, he did take advantage of the burning by having a huge palace built on the ruins.
In an effort to be “Fair and Balanced” I have to say that listening to the Bush speech the other night, I would say it was well done, he said all the right things one would want to hear. You almost thought he cared. The only problem is that he is a LIAR. I heard someone say that it reminded them of the battered wife syndrome. Every time you get beaten by the husband, he comes back with flowers and says he is sorry, and will do better next time.
Now George W. is talking about spending $200 billion on rebuilding New Orleans. This is not about compassion; it is about lining his and his cronies’ pockets. We are already seeing the “No Bid contracts” going to Halliburton, and others. This is about taking money from the poor and the middle class tax payers and putting it into the hands of the corporations.
Here are a few more “coincidences” to ponder: 666 in Revelation was a direct reference to the then Antichrist. In Hebrew numerology Caesar Nero was equal to 666, as is George Walker Busche today. They both presided over the decline of their Empire. Bush is now head of the new revived Roman Empire, and he shares much of the same nature as his counter part.
Adolph Hitler also has nothing on him, 1. They both stole power claming it was a mandate 2. Both used a seeming terror attack to galvanize and cement their leadership.3. Both invoke fear to control the masses. 4. Both manipulated the media for propaganda. 5. Both declare a vision of world domination. 6. Both started a war without provocation. 7. Both are not Christians and distort the truth of the Gospel and teachings of Christ.
When you look around us at the attitude in the world, the people just want to “Fiddle”. The world is trying to go on as though nothing is happening; Las Vegas keeps building bigger and more excessive. Many parts of the country Real Estate markets are bloated and they think it will all just keep on going up. Europe is just the same as the US. Every man is running to and fro Dan:12:4: and attending to his own affairs and own house. Hag:1:9: “Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.” Mt:24:37: “But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38: For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39: And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Now for the good news, Satan has lost. Jn:16:33: “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”. Jesus here has made us a promise; that in the world ye shall have tribulation but in Him we shall have peace. That is a promise. Keep your eye on him, the birth pangs are getting stronger and closer together, as we give birth to a new age. To the Christian tribulation will be as a refiner’s fire to burn off the chaff and mature us into Christ.

Whore of Medicine

In a previous post I warned you that as I explored the height, width and depth of the Whore Babylon, some would think me a loon. I also mentioned that my mother-in-law had just died of lung cancer. She was a heavy smoker for 40 years. I found it ironic that the same family fortune (Duke) that gave her the cancer in the first place from smoking was now making as much money or more on the effort to treat her.
What I am about to discuss here is the RELIGION of modern medicine. In this discussion I am not saying that we should not see doctors or use medicine, but I am saying that there is a better higher more excellent way. Many times the good can become the enemy of the best. Doctors are viewed by many people as though they were Gods or High Priests; having the power of life and death in their hands. They put all their faith in them and seem surprised when they make a mistake or don’t have a cure for everything. The fact is that much of what is done in medicine today is just guess work and experimentation.
With this in mind let us look back at the history and origin of “Medicine” and its “Symbol” I think we will discover that it is very much part of this “Great Whore”.
In the book of Genesis there is an account that few pay any attention to. The Bible tells us that giants (Nephilim) were in the earth in those days. How did they get here? Satan has known since the beginning that Gods plan for salvation would come through the seed of a woman, and knowing that with that salvation would come his own destruction; Satan has sought since then to corrupt and destroy mankind. In Gen.6: 1: “And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2: That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3: And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he ALSO is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 4: There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. 5: And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Apparently these fallen angels where having offspring as a result of their union. This is another account of spirit and flesh having produced a child. Satan’s counterfeit of Jesus born of Spirit through Mary; God’s purpose to save mankind and Satan’s purpose to destroy it. In “The Book of Enoch” we see an interesting account of some of what happened as a result of these relations man had with the fallen angels. First let me discuss for a moment the “Book of Enoch” itself. I know some would say it is not the Bible, but it is referred to in the Bible and quoted. In fact many scholars believe that the account I just posted here from Genesis, Moses learned from the account in “The Book of Enoch”. Jude quotes directly from it Jude: 1:14: “And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints” (Enoch 1:9). Notice that Jude was not talking about just any Enoch but the one that was “Seventh from Adam” and before the flood. This is what Jude is talking about in vs.6 “And the angels which kept not their first estate, (the spiritual realm) but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 7: Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh,” The strange flesh that this is referring to here in context was the men of Sodom were going after the Angels. This has nothing to do with homosexuality as some of the modern translations have mistakenly interpreted. The early church looked at this book along with the “Epistle of Barnabas” as Scripture. Some believe these writings survived by being carried on the Ark with Noah, and then latter having been in Joseph’s care they were in the coffin with him as he was taken out of Egypt. Now let us have a look at a passage in the book to see what happened. Chapter 7. vs.1 “And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms 2 and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants. And they 3 became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells.” Here we see these falling angels teaching mankind how to use the things of the earth. In another place they teach them metallurgy. This may seem at first a good thing, but what in fact is happening is they are teaching man to be independent of God. This is the earliest form of Witchcraft and use of drugs and medicines. The “cutting of roots” and “acquainted with plants” was the making of potions for use in healing or casting spells and altering consciousness.
The first time we see the serpent on a pole is in Numbers 21. vs. 5: “And the people spoke against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loathes this light bread. 6: And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. 7: Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. 8: And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looks upon it, shall live. 9: And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.” This is a prophetic picture of Jesus’ on the cross. He is depicted as a serpent because He had become sin for us. The serpents that were biting the Israelites and causing death are a depiction of sin. Rom:6:23: “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” We, like the Israelites are healed by looking upon the cross of Christ. Is this meant to be only spiritual healing? Mt:9:29: “Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.”
The next place in history we see the serpent on a pole is in the Greek city of Pergamos. In this city the main attraction was the Temple of Esculapius. The statue pictured above is from this temple. It was this temple that all the sick would attend to receive treatments and advice. It dates from 400- 390 B.C. Most would agree that this is where the modern symbols of medicine come from. I found it astounding that in the book of Revelation it is called “Satan’s seat” Rev.2: 12: “And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; 13: I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.”. So again, we see the true, and the counterfeit; Gods Serpent on a pole and Satan’s. Shouldn’t Gods be the more powerful and trustworthy?
In the New Testament when we see the word “Witchcraft” used it comes from the Greek word Pharmacia. This is where our word Pharmacy comes from. It is the use of drugs. What am I saying? Do I mean that we are not to use medicines? Well ultimately yes, we won’t need to. I believe Jesus is capable of healing our bodies as well as our souls. Do I think we are ready to walk in that yet? NO!!! I do believe that that day is at hand though. God is in the process of showing us the truth about modern medicine and causing us to have to rely on Him. Did Jesus heal for profit? When we wonder why the price of drugs is so high, we are told that they need to be in order to encourage more and better drugs. It is all about the profit motive, or the “Love of money.” Now we are beginning to see the true spirit behind the drug industry. The seed that was planted back with the “Nephilim” and the fallen angels is now grown into a tree, and we see the greedy fruit. I understand Michael Moore is doing a documentary on the subject. That promises to be very interesting. What ever happened to the idea of wanting to be of service to mankind? More and more people are unable to afford the medicines we have become so dependant on, and insurance rates are going through the roof. In fact the profit motive is an incentive not to cure but to keep people in need of their drugs. Look at the viral disease HIV; people that are infected need medications that cost several thousand dollars a month. You tell me, where is the incentive to cure that illness? Just keep the cash flowing. If you create a cure or a vaccine, the money stops. People today are more dependent on drugs than ever before and we have supposedly made great strides in medical science; Yet the prospects of a plague being unleashed upon mankind is more ominous than ever. In our spirit man seems to know that the time is at hand, almost everyone in places like NYC that are financially successful need to go to a therapist. Sales of antidepressants and antipsychotic drugs are in the multi billions. Was this the way God meant it to be? God gave us guide lines for physical and spiritual health. I read a great book on the subject years ago; about the Biblical guidelines for health I believe it is still available (“None of These Diseases”). The idea is that if we were living according to Gods design most of the health problems we have would not exist.
As this new day dawns and God pours out of his Spirit, the darkness will get darker and the light will get lighter. Rv:22:11. We have had a lot discussion on the Antichrist and the dark hoards he is unleashing. There will be much tribulation as the travail of the birth pangs get more intense, but to the true believer these thing will be as a refiners fire to perfect the saints. To the wicked it will burn them up. Rom:5:3: “And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;” In the early church we saw a shadow of the spiritual power and healing Jesus spoke of when he said Jn:14:12: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” When Peter walked if just his shadow fell on someone they were healed. Acts:3:6: “Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” This is not the phony Pat Robertson fake stuff, but the real thing. We have not seen the “greater works” happen in the church yet, but it will in these last days. The scripture teaches that Hag:2:9: “The glory of this latter house ( the end time church) shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.” Amen and Amen Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
