The Little Horn
In learning about the Antichrist, one of the great questions we seek an answer to concerns what the scripture is talking about when we read in Revelation that the beast receives a mortal wound to one of its heads. Rev: 13: 3: "And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast." As far as the wound to the head, some have suggested that perhaps it means that Bush’s popularity has dropped and even his staunchest supporters seem to have turned against him. Does this mean “Bush is dead politically and then "miraculously" he will rebound and grab more power and influence than he had before?” (NathanDave) We don't know as yet. It could also be a real mortal wound (although I doubt that). Someone, in one of the comments either here or on Hanchett’s blog, (can't remember where) made the comment about “W” being the resurrected Bush after his father received a "Mortal wound" by loosing the election to Bill Clinton. That was obviously not in their plans. They did everything in their power to destroy Clinton, spending over $50 million of our money to search out his sex life. This is also very possibly an application. After all it also says in Vs.14 that the wound was received by a sword. The “Sword” speaks of the word or a word and the breath of God. Eph: 6:17: “And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:” Heb: 4:12: “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” 2Thes:2:8: “And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:” Rv: 2:16: “Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.” Most political observers would say that if you were to point to any one thing that caused George H.W. to loose you would have to say it was his own WORDS. “Read my lips, No new taxes” Could this be the sword that struck him to the head? I would like to tell you all a brief story. My mother, who was 93 when she died a few years ago, was seemingly a bit senile in the last several years of her life. She at times would think she saw things, and would have knowledge of things that were strange. I just thought she was a bit crazy. From the very beginning of Bill Clintons Presidency, every time something bad would happen she would say “That’s that George Bush, He's behind this" and I would tell her she was wrong, I would tell her that Bush had lost and he was back in Texas. He had no power anymore and he could not be behind these things. I just thought these were the grumblings of an old lady that had no idea what she was talking about. But she would insist, always saying " Oh no, you watch He's behind it" I would argue with her a bit, and insist that she was wrong. She would continue to insist that she knew, and would say “You watch, He's behind it, He'll come back, He'll come back, and the stock market will crash and we will go to war, you watch!!" Now if your hair isn't standing on end yet, let me say this everything happened just like she said. In Biblical references, many times the father and the son are considered the same person. They are certainly the same spirit. My mother wasn't a particularly godly woman, but I believe that when you are in a state where your sense of reality is altered and somewhat delusional, you can be more open to seeing into the spirit. It may not always be from God, but can in fact be truth. The devils would speak the truth when the Lord came into their presence declaring him as the "Christ". The devil also likes to give people truths to get you to trust him and then slip you a lie. I say this because what my mother had seen did come to pass. Most defiantly a spirit had shown her this, but I am not sure it was the Spirit of God. My point is I believe God may have been telling me something through my mother. Did this mean the G.W. Bush is the father restored to power? I don't know for sure, but my feeling is that he is. The important thing is the "Fruit" we can watch this and know that if not THE antichrist, certainly AN antichrist. The cycles and patterns are always the same. On the other hand both or all applications could also happen. If you remember how the father was so high in popularity you would have thought, how could anyone ever beat him? GW was the same, having gone from the highest approval ratings of any president to the lowest. Much of these discussions I believe are healthy and important speculation in pursuit of the truth. Now we have been beating the drum about Iran. We are going into Iran. People think NO WAY, but what would happen if an atomic bomb went off in this country, or on a military base here or elsewhere in the world? Then they say "See the Iranians did it and this proves they have nuclear capabilities" He would sky rocket back up in the polls and people would take to the streets shouting “Lets go nuke em” I hope I am wrong.
I would also like to comment on the discussion of the Illuminati. It is true that plots and plans have been laid by these secret societies for a very long time and certainly they have achieved much of their plans so far, but I want to remind my readers, that none of these men are smart enough or wise enough to figure out all the courses and possibilities that could happen. It may give us some insight to know what they are up to, but remember this is a spiritual thing. Eph: 6:12: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
All their plotting and planning is only setting their own trap. They are being used to ultimately accomplish the will of God Ps: 9:16: “The LORD is known by the judgment which he executes: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.” Prov: 12:13: “The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.” God’s will shall be done, even by the deceivers. Jesus prayed it, “Thy Will be done” and it will be answered.
